2.0 out of 5 stars No USB Cable..., 14 May 2014
It annoys me companies charge these prices then are so tight they don't even include a usb cable so people can use it out of the box... just to let you know you need to buy a seperate usb cable to get this to work, so you know and your child or friends birthday isn't a disappointment because of this like mine was.

5.0 out of 5 stars THIS IS FOOTBALL IGNORE THE KIDS!, 31 Dec. 2010
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: FIFA 11 (PS3) (Video Game)
This is simply the best most realistic, varied and balanced game of football since Pro Evolution Soccer 6 on PS2. There is a reason that the kind of people that loved fifa instead of Pro Evo back on ps2 don't like this it's because, it takes skill, knowing your teams strengths and weaknesses (fast wingers, great playmaker, huge target man up front, etc) not childish arcadey gameplay.
Players play and move like their real life counter parts now so much it's scary, and I don't think people give EA the full credit they deserve for turning the series biggest weakness into it's biggest strength in one year. And the variety and depth this adds to the gameplay is a godsend.
In short much, much, much better than Fifa 10, which was good at first but got boring like all Fifa's before it. FIFA 11 is just getting better and better the longer I play it, do you know why? Because it plays just like football!! Masterpiece

Very interesting book , explores spike Lee's character, his films, his relationships with people in their own words. Aftab does a great job of shining a light on Spike Lee's life and film making career that has cemented his place as one of the greatest and most iconic film makers of his generation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, 31 Oct. 2009

I am at film school in the UK and spike lee is one of my favourite directors and this is probably my favourite film of his, and this is in no small part to this beautiful soundtrack using a collection of Aaron Copland's music, it paints a stunning musical picture of the United States. Now get the film and watch it with Lee's images and you'll get the whole experience!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Book, 31 Oct. 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book plays out very much like Tarkovsky's films a bit long winded, and overlong, BUT the man's mind and films are so unique, interesting and visually stunning that your are forced to have some sort of reaction, so this is necessary reading for anyone who wants to be a film maker or even a film critic. Get into the mind of a very deep man (even if it's sometimes confusing, stick with it and you can't help but be influenced by the way he looks at the world)
