BE WARNED! NOT MARINE ALGAE BASED/VEGETARIAN - ANCHOVY OIL BASED!, 24 Jun. 2014
Whilst the packaging does state that it is from a 'sustainable fish source' it is easy to miss this and be mistaken by the name 'VEG-EPA' and the large text saying 'marine' on the front, which misleading implies that it is an algae-based form of EPA.
It is not vegetarian and that there is in fact MORE fish oil in this than plant source oil, even though it is as expensive as the average vegan marine source of EPA.
I feel that this is deliberate marketing for those of us trying to find non-fish sources of EPA and DHA.
I am utterly disappointed by this product after reading the fine print and feel that they should not trade under the name 'Veg-epa' since most of their products are predominantly fish oil sources, NOT vegetable/plant-based oils. Shocking use of marketing.
