Hellll Yeahhh - Go buy, 29 Nov 2002
After getting Systems first album when it first came out I've been hooked on their original and completely unpredictable sound ever since. When I got their 2nd album I was very happy with it, but it seemed that their sound had changed a fair bit but was still good. This album is everything that I was dying for the second one to be. The first thing you have to understand is that this isn't just a crappy offcut record, no remixes or covers its all new original and brilliant songs.
This album shows Systems true diversity much better than in Toxicity. But it also seems that it all goes together much better than their first one. Each song has its distinct sound and they fully show their serious and comical sides. The album opens with a song about a pizza pie! But everything has a very deep pollitical undertone such as in 'Bang'and 'F**k the System' (one amazing song). But they know how to exactly balance and blend the two to keep it from being too overwhelming as in some politicaly edged bands.
This album is now my favourite System album, they haven't sold out even with the success they've found with the new 'younger' market. But instead have kept the crazy feel of their first album mixed it with a few different styles and have created an amazing album, which makes you bounce and think. If you liked any of their albums then your going to like this, go and buy.
