Blaupunkt EASY 111 Headphones Blue
Blaupunkt EASY 111 Headphones Blue

5.0 out of 5 stars Cracking for the price, 15 Nov. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought these as i became tired of my cat chewing through expensive headphones. I wasn't thinking too much about performance on purchase, but was really surprised by the quality of sound. Of course, they are not going to compete with products costing £50+, but they do out perform stuff i've bought from Tesco costing £15! Will definitely buy them again once the inevitable chew-through happens.

5.0 out of 5 stars The only picks for me., 15 Nov. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I discovered the perfect pick/string combination way back as a teenager, and have been using them ever since. These picks have the perfect mix of resistance and flexibility that allows you to both strum away gently, and shred furiously. Top class. Good price and quick delivery. Cheers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Even Stuart Barnes hasn't wrecked this..., 26 Oct. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I need to start this by correcting the first reviewers guess at what is included. This does have it all - Lions Raw, pre test match highlights, and each test in full, plus loads of extras.

Also, like the second reviewer, i too received my copy on 25th! Fantastic! Watched the whole Lions Raw BD straight away - my long suffering 'rugby widow' wife even enjoyed it. Cheers for that Amazon :)

I am going to split this review into positives and negatives, and invariably compare it to the masterpiece that is 'Living with the Lions' (LWTL). Also, at the time of writing, i have only watched Raw, the extras and the highlights up the the game against the Queensland Reds.

I'm going to start with the negatives:

1) The game coverage is provided directly by Sky, so you have to put up with the serious amount of utter drivel that freely spews forth from Stuart 'Fatty' Barnes gob! Christ, i wish he would sod off and stick to what he knows best - eating pies. This by far the worst aspect of the blu ray. Of course, there is very little of the Muppet in the Lions Raw content, but as you start to watch the match coverage, the whining Gwenter starts to get into his coverage ruining stride.

2) The Lions Raw documentary just isn't as 'warts and all' as LWTL. The bits that made LTWL stand out for me were the frank and brutal discussions by the management team of the players performances, and subsequent team selection. Ian McGeechan stating that 'Woody is hiding' when the Irish talisman is spotted cowering behind a teammate isn't something you will see in this, although the great man does make a 'guest' appearance.

3) You get the feeling that it's a very sanitised, PR documentary that isn't going to show anyone in a negative light. However, please refer to point 1 of the positives when considering this.

And now for the positives:

1) The production values of the documentary are excellent - Far superior to LWTL, which now definitely has a more of a home movie feel to it in comparison. The soundtrack that accompanies the documentary is spot on, ranging from lighthearted jocular tones to emotionally charged awesomeness - particularly as the it builds throughout the final test.

2) It passes so quickly! I've put this in the positives as it is as a direct result of this hugely entertaining and engaging film. When i checked the running time and found that i hadn't been cheated, it became even more obvious that i had been completely engrossed, oblivious to anyone and everything going on around me.

3) The extras are totally worth it! Again, i thought the whole thing ended far too quickly, but when the next disc contained loads more 'fly on the wall' type footage, it was quickly inserted and avidly viewed - and all in one evening. Marvelous.

4) At no point did i get the impression that the tour was dominated by the Welsh. The players and staff are well represented from all four unions, so don't worry if you were one of the Englishmen crying into his Pimms or shandy at the news of the entire Welsh first team being selected to tour, this film really does give you the impression that it was in fact Britain and Ireland on tour. Seriously though, you should love it no matter what country you're from... Well, maybe not if you are Australian. Ha!

5) In comparison to the other DVD's of this series being sold, this one really is a bargain! For a few extra quid you get 5 BD's in stunning HD, all in one box. It has to be the pic of the crop for this reason alone.

6) And finally... Like all good stories, it has a happy ending - we SMASH the Aussie's!

1.0 out of 5 stars Free UK delivery - Liars!, 12 Oct. 2013
I ordered this trolley based on the info and pics in the advert, as we all do i suppose. The product info states "FREE DELIVERY IN THE UK & SAME DAY DISPATCH when purchased from SILVER BULLET TRADING". Unfortunately this is a blatant lie, 'cos if you live in a rural community, they will not even bother sending it. I ordered this product one day, the following day (note 'same day dispatch' LIE!) i received an email stating that they did not deliver to my rural location (I live 20 mins from a city).

Poor, poor trading ethic, and downright misleading product info. Avoid Silver Bullet Trading!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars No use for making sausages, 15 Dec. 2012
I bought this grinder so i could choose what went into my cooking, and also to make my own sausages. So far so good with regards to the grinding - it has done this with ease, albeit rather noisily. However, when it comes to making sausages, it is practically no use whatsoever. The sausage stuffer is far too wide to be of any use. The largest collagen casings i could find are 36mm, and these only just fit over the end. Added to that, the stuffer is graduated quite steeply so you can only get enough casings on it for a few sausages. This is not only a pain, but it limits the range of sausages you can make. I am disappointed in this respect, especially as it would have cost them nothing to include another, smaller stuffer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seriously good stuff!, 13 Feb. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Now, I have never bought an alloy wheel cleaner before, so I cannot give any comparrisons to another product. However, I can say that this is seriously brilliant! I mean, you simply spray it on your wheels (all over), leave for a few moments, then wash off with a hose. The results are startling!

I do not know what is in it, and the instructions state that you should only clean one wheel at a time, as the product should not be on the wheel for any more than 1 minute, so my guess is that it is some serious stuff. I used it without gloves on, and even carelessly splashed some on my face (not in my eyes) and didn't have any adverse reaction to it, but the way in which it cleans, you could easily believe that the chemicals used were mental strength.

The bottom line - this product cleans filthy wheels like new in under a minute! Well done Autoglym.

1.0 out of 5 stars use a clock, 22 Dec. 2009
Seriously, use a clock. 4 minutes for an egg, and voila! This is no use. When its in boiling water, its difficult to read. Used it a few times, and had varying results. Dumped it off at the charity shop earlier. My clock works well though.

1.0 out of 5 stars Looks good, but absolutely terrible, 31 Aug. 2009
I bought these phones as i wanted multiple wireless handsets that i could attach to the wall. These phones are worse than useless. If you try to fix them to a wall, they won't charge. The construction is so poor that unless they are lying down, the contacts do not touch. The reception is appalling, regardless of where your standing. Try standing next to the primary phone, and it's still useless. I Have tried changing adsl splitter, but no use. The answer phone is worse than useless. If you are used to the functionality of even a cheap mobile phone, you'll be astounded by the impracticality of this one. All calls are listed in one list, not calls made / received etc. Without all these functions, I would have been happy if the phones actually worked (since they do look pretty swish), but when you are having trouble hearing someone on the phone in this day and age, there is something drastically wrong! I cannot believe that someone actually gave it 5 stars. Beware that review, and believe all the others.
