I've read this on numerous occasions over the last forty years and my pleasure and opinion of reading this book has changed over the course of time. The book as everybody knows was written in the 1930's and was good for the times and also the following three decades but I feel time has finally caught up with the book and taken in todays context it doesn't stand up and is quite slow and ponderous, believe me this statement is as hard to write as it is to read as at one time it was my favourite horror book. So I have given it 4 stars based on my previous enjoyment of the book, but if I was to read it for the first time now then I could deduct one or two stars.

What a great read this is, you get so enraptured in the story and it's characters that by the end of the novel you are ready to put on a kimono and pick up your swords, that's how good it is. It's one of the best books I've ever read and over the years I've read it about five times. My one and only complaint is that the final battle should have been covered over a few chapters instead of a few pages (but that really is nit picking).5 stars all the way.

What a fantastic cd this is. I'd advise anybody who buys this to take it home and play it real loud ( or equally with a good set of headphones ) immediately you are there in the audience and the feeling you get is incredible as the songs come at you in rapid succession, what a triumph for Elvis. As good as Aloha from Hawaii was vocally, this feels more like how a rock show should be.

What can one say about such a great book that hasn't already been said, despite the number of different main characters in the book it is such an easy read and grips and immerses you into the story from the first page. excellent.

One of the most thought provoking and best westerns of all time. How ordinary people can be changed and swept along under the fury of mob rule. Once the adrenalin rush is coursing through the mobs veins all they want to do is hang somebody, saves having a trial. Unfortunately there are consequences for their actions. Once again Henry Fonda is Terrific in the role, but Dana Andrews gives one of the best, if not the best performances of his career. 5 stars without a doubt.

What a great performance this is, I wish that it contained much more rock songs, but Elvis wanted to Show The World that he could sing anything. This two disc set also features The rehearsal show which was good but he messed up a couple of lines on Burning Love, but he nails the song on the night and it was Terrific. Also worth noting is the look of Triumph on Elvis's face at the end. Maybe this was the beginning of the end , After performing before an estimated audience of 1.5000,000,000 ( 1.5 Billion ) people everything else must have seemed a let down. Sure he still played a few more great Concerts, but how do you get yourself up for the rest. But What A Concert and certainly Vocally Elvis at his Peak.5 STARS>

The Concluding Story of Batman The Dark Knight Returns is Terrific, with the Joker seemingly Catatonic until he hears that his nemesis has come back, leaving him no option but to return also.5 STARS

I remember The Graphic Novel when it first came out and This almost captures it, almost but not quite, it doesn't let you know what Batman is thinking, which the novel did, a minor point maybe to some, but to others an important issue. That said it would be churlish not to award this 5 stars as it is still a great story.

I found it started off at a slower pace than other Reacher books but the complex story soon catches the attention of the reader. The ending is Terrific and leaves you wanting more.

The First Jack Reacher BOOK, I liked this one, it starts at a fast pace, grabs your attention from page one and holds it until the end, which is no mean feat.
