Won't be buying it, 13 April 2013
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
I won't be buying this game and I will avoid EA where possible. What they have done here is make it so each user has to register the game with an activation code and then you have to be connected to the internet in order for it to be verified so that you can play it. Having 1 activation code and having to be connected to the server whilst playing means that you can't buy this game second hand as the code can only be used once. This is a good way for EA to stop people from trading this game and from people buying it 2nd hand. Now you have to buy it brand new with an unused code in order to play this game because EA and game companies don't like shops and businesses selling pre-owned games because EA doesn't get any money from that. This form of DRM means that all of the buyers/people playing the game have to connect to EA servers and this means the servers have to be able to perform 24/7 because if the server has problems it can stop you from playing the game. I recommend boycoting EA if they continue to do this with their games and will not be buying this game. They are putting games shops out of business and they are making silly money without losing a few sales from pre-owned games.

Poor build quality, 31 Oct 2012
I have owned many, many different headphones, headsets and ear phones of all qualities. I love Sennheiser generally and own 2 pairs of HD650s as well as 2 sennheiser headsets for PC, along with others i've owned in the past. They are all top notch. However a couple of years ago i bought the IE80's, for 180 from amazon new. The sound quality is very good, comfortable, best quality of earphones I have heard but again not sure it is even worth the money as you could almost get the HD600s or 650s which are much better sound quality. The problem is the build quality is extremely cheap and fragile for such high quality ear phones, the jack on them is metal, not even gold plated, so if you remove them from your ipod or laptop often, as I did the silver wears a way and basically damages it so you get crackles and eventually they become permanently damaged. Other than that, the earphones and cable is very delicate and cheap feel, nothing robust. Maybe they designed it so these have a top end feel instead of something more rugged and durable, either way it is bad news, no gold plated jack, delicate and crappy build quality. When my first pair basically fell apart, I got a replacement from amazon. I took better care of my 2nd pair, and basically from pulling them in and out of ipod and my laptop, the right earphone lost sound, such is the delicacy. Amazon refused to replace them a 2nd time, thinking it was my fault when it wasn't, I take care of my stuff, if I cared any more I might as well start worshipping them. Overall I don't recommend them until they upgrade the build quality. my Sony earphones which were 50 quid have better build quality by far. You would think for the money they could at least give the jack gold plating.

Great film but no Spanish audio or subtitles, 14 Sep 2012
I'd already seen the film and liked it, but bought this DVD from amazon because it's advertised as having Spanish dubbing. It doesn't have the Spanish audio as advertised which is disappointing. Otherwise fine.

No Spanish/Castillian, 14 Sep 2012
Hi, As far as the film goes, it's really good. I bought this DVD hoping it would have the Spanish dubbing/language and Spanish subtitles. The DVD I received from Amazon has neither. A bit of a disappointment for me with regards to that...otherwise a top film.

Pretty good value, 20 July 2012
For the price of 23 quid, it's pretty good value. The folder is pretty strong, the handles can fold down inside. It doesn't have any cheap looking parts to it at all at least and the build quality is pretty decent. It's thick and large enough to easily accommodate a 7" to 10" tablet like the iPad, along with a notebook/book and with the rest of the compartments although when you do fill it up to the brim, the handles are stiff and it takes strength to keep the handles together in your hand, so they don't have much slack to them. maybe with use they loosen up. That's a downside because it's not too comfortable for me to carry when it's full, although doable, can't expect everything for the price. My 12" netbook fits in it but fills up the folder quite a lot and leaves little space for anything else. The ringbinder in it is a little annoying as well because I will hardly use it. Otherwise, good and worth the money.

Excellent 17.3" laptop, 28 April 2012
I spent around 5 weeks looking at 17" laptops and other options like a PC. There isn't a massive choice for 17" laptops these days because the companies are more interested in small toys like tablets and ultrabooks where they can make more money. My budget was around 500 because pay any more and you are practically getting ripped off, and pay too little and you get an underpowered laptop. i had requirements - chiclet keyboard, i5, 17.3". the only other option was the Asus K73E which is ok but not chiclet, has an i3, and all brown colour which is pretty ugly. this seems the best laptop around for the price, any more and you aren't getting value and too little and you get something too slow. Go into the audio playback option and properties and turn off SoundAlive, some audio software which makes the sound worse. It comes with included software, some of it is good, you'll have to spend 5 mins un-installing some junk like norton. Some reviews said the screen was low quality, my eyes must be bad because it looks great to me. Bright with good colours. most laptop screens are around the same anyway unless you buy a macbook or alienware which cost at least 1.5k+ that have top screens. The build quality is pretty good, the keyboard is really nice, large and well-spaced. the mouse is also good. it also comes bundled with a recovery disc which is good, some like Acer don't even provide discs any more. i thought it would be hotter, web browsing, email and youtube and the laptop is very cool and no hot air coming from the fan.

Works great in Linux (Fedora), 11 Feb 2012
my headphone input broke, as a replacement picked this up. works great. plugged it in, and it worked straight away. except i had to go into audio settings and increase the volume and tweak the settings a little. well worth the money, very happy.

Excellent value, good stand, 22 Nov 2011
this is a cheap and excellent laptop stand. it is adjustable, light, can move around 360degrees,ventilates the base of the laptop well. overall happy with it. this is the 2nd one in the house. i tightened the screw underneath to make it more stiff so it doesn't move when typing. for the value i would recommend, better than a lot of the expensive ones on here
