5.0 out of 5 stars Everything Little Boys Love is in this book !, 7 Feb 2006
I bought this for my three year old son after reading a newspaper review - he just loves it ! The story is simple but has challenge in it, includes all the elements of fantasy that any three to five year old boy loves - pirates, dinosaurs, dressing up with your firends, becoming captain of a ship, taking charge and battling with a huge T Rex. Unique illustrations are visually stimulating and offer a new way to look at familiar images eg Captain Stubble ( who is almost all stubble! ) and the great story with some little funny bits ( eg battling with the T Rex for "two hours and twenty five mintues" ) means that we currently have to read this every day. Love it and, more importantly, my sone loves it - very good quality book. Highly recommnded.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a fantastic toy this is !, 5 Jan 2006

I bought a Stomp Rocket to take to a week long family reunion which involved kids of widely varying ages - they absolutely loved it and played well together every single day for the whole week with it - really great ( often hilarious ) fun and it had them all running around tiring them out for bedtime - my three year old played with his cousins aged from 6 to 9 and even the adults wanted to have a go. I cannot recommend this highly enough and have just ordered two more as presents. Be sure you have an open space though as we got the rockets stuck in trees a few times. Physical fun with educational element too as the kids learnt different directions and made up different modes of stomping (eg backwards, side to middle, recommend the sitting stomp ! ) I love this.

2.0 out of 5 stars More frustrating than fun, 30 Nov 2005
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
My son was delighted when he opened the box but this soon turned to frustration - the Bob figure does not sit well on the scrambler and the trailer continually becomes unhooked from the bike making it a "stop / start" expereince - the trailer hood detaches completely which is also hopeless since it is fiddly for little fingers to get back on and my son can keep nothing in it as the bike goes along - trying to get the friction action to work with all these problems is hopeless. I do not recommend this product - it just does not hang together.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Sotry Tree - best story CD yet !, 7 July 2005
This review is from: The Story Tree (Audio CD)
My son loves audio CDs and has lots but this has to be the best one yet - not the usual nursery rhymes and mainstream stories which pop up on other Cds but a rich variety of lovely and unusual stories from around the world - we love this and the great tune too - highly recommended !
