1.0 out of 5 stars Like a crisp packet...., 3 Oct. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Waterproof Quilt Protector Single
I can't believe that a Protector could be made in such a way ... it sounds like a crisp packet in bed, its hot and i can't really believe that anyone would chose to persist with it on their bed...

Now cut up for use as waterproof painting sheets.....

5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly surprised, 15 Jun. 2012
This review is from: A Life Within A Day (Audio CD)
Given the variable nature of solo albums from Steve Hackett over the years, I didn't have great expectations, but this is surprisingly good, and invites repeat listenings.

Although Hackett dominates, with his distinctive guitar sound, Chris Squire compliments Steve extremely well, especially in the vocals.

I hope they consider a further collaboration in the future, even if it takes another 4 years to produce !

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, 13 Nov. 2008
I hadn't tried a digital photoframe before, so bought with some trepidation. It was actually better than expected, and easy to use.. i plugged in the power and memory stick of photos, and it was fully operational straight away.

5.0 out of 5 stars Original ASIA at last, 27 Mar. 2008
This review is from: Phoenix (Audio CD)
The original ASIA lineup produced an amazing debut album 25 years ago, that still sounds fresh today. After years of second rate, bootleg style releases of live recordings, it is fantastic to have the original lineup back together and releasing a new album of new material.

The 2 tracks from the new album, "Never Again" and "Extraordinary Life", were played live in Wolverhampton in March, and both have already been judged as classic Asia tracks. The talents of Steve Howe (Yes) on guitars, Carl Palmer (ELP) on drums, John Wetton (UK, King Crimson) on vocals and Geoff Downes (Buggles, Yes) on keyboards, combined with a new found chemistry between them, promise to deliver a classic album for old and new fans alike to enjoy.
