Organix Goodies Saucy Tomato Noughts and Crosses from 12 months 15 g (Pack of 6)

1.0 out of 5 stars Too pricey online, 9 Aug. 2014
I also ordered online and made the mistake on not checking the quantities so paid £7.99 plus postage for 6 x 15g bags. Way over priced - much, much cheaper in the supermarket.
No problem with the product, both of my kids love the product.
You just need to be careful checking the quantities and the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the great tales of the Kruger National Park, 11 Feb. 2012
I grew up a short drive away from the Kruger Park and have spent many great days exploring the nooks and crannies of this world famous reserve.
This is the story written by one of its modern day leaders over the years that he and his family lived in the National Park. Easy to read in short bursts or on a long flight, it gives a true sense of life in the african bush.

The Teeth of the Tiger (Jack Ryan Jr 1)
The Teeth of the Tiger (Jack Ryan Jr 1)
by Tom Clancy
Edition: Paperback

1.0 out of 5 stars Lazy writing from a previous great, 22 Jan. 2012
Tom Clancy has really gone downhill with this book. A very thin plot line and some excruciating bits of dialogue between Jack Ryan Jr and his cousins. Thanks goodness Clancy bumps one of them off in his next book - yip, I made the mistake of reading that one too.

1.0 out of 5 stars £3 and 106mins of my life I will never get back, 14 May 2011
This review is from: The Fallen [2005] [DVD] (DVD)
I really wish I had read some of the reviews on Amazon before watching this film.
It is easily the worst film I have seen, ever.

If it was meant as entertainment it fell woefully short and even as a 'how not to make a war film' documentary it just didn't do the job. I'm guessing that like many of the actors the reviewers of the film must have been amateurs. 'Saving Private Ryan but even better' - surely a trading standards officer should get involved with that description. The battle scenes were terrible, the plot just seemed to meader nowhere, and the acting worse than your local am dram society. Some characters just pop up and then disappear with no warning, with no onward clue as to what their part in the story was.

I really hope the guy who directed this film gave it up and went back to his day job.

I often take old dvds down to my local charity shop but I don't think I would want to inflict this on anyone else.

Inside French Rugby: Confessions of a Kiwi Mercenary

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting story on the French game, 4 Jan. 2011
I recently bought and read this book based on some of the reviews I had seen.

This book seemed to get a lot more hype than it was worth. Sure there were some interesting insights to the game but I don't think this compares as well as Jason Robinson's book, Martin Johnson's book or even John Smit's book.
Possibly not being as well know as some of the international players John Daniell could have offered up a bit more about himself rather than some of the fairly safe observations and thoughts.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not really a beach read, 10 Aug. 2010
This review is from: The Dust Diaries (Paperback)
I bought this book as a holiday read but its not really a page turner, although the author does try to create a bit of suspense by only unfolding the full story right near the end.
Having been brought up in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe I was quite interested in some of the early origins of the country and this book gave some of that insight, especially the period of the early 1900's whne it was moving from a tribal community to one dominated by European norms of land ownership and trade.

I think this along with books such as Mukiwa, The Crocodile eats the Sun and Don't lets go to the Dogs Tonight give some sense of what it was like to be a European growing up in an African country.

A good read...but a lot more cerebral than a beach book.

Great DVD with just enough detail from most games to give a good overview of the tournament.
