1.0 out of 5 stars first impressions not good, 23 Jun 2014
appear cheap and poor quality wish I'd spent more for Sakura mats as I've had those before and were excellent. not black in colour as described, look more like charcoal grey to me. Paid about 15 but don't believe for a minute they are worth the 'undiscounted' 30 they say these normally sell for. my advice is spent around 25 for a reputable brand (which I will prob have to do in a few months when these cheap crap mats are worn out !) as a genuine good quality product will prob last 10x longer than these. will re-post if my suspicions are proved wrong.

The ad is misleading the speaker produces dreadful sound quality but also is completely useless by way of the fact that it only produces volume levels at a fraction of what my tablet or mobile phone internal speakers can achieve anyway so it in no way boosts a super sound as described, in fact I have headphones which are louder when plugged into same devices. you wouldn't use this junk if it was free so I recommend buying something which does the job and actually enhances sounds and boosts volume from a device, not the opposite as this product does
.

3 weeks after purchase i'm still trying to obtain drivers for windows 7, the disc supplied and the ones sent by email only suitable up to vista. pain in the arse i'd rather pay garmin their outrageous prices than spend all this time and effort gettin this POS to work.

I dont mind paying a premium for nikon lenses as this usually reflects quality, warranty, R&D etc but a battery charger is a battery charger FFS ! this is brilliant at a fraction of what nikon want for a replacement and is compact and able to be used anywhere there's cars or electrickery, cant fault it.

4.0 out of 5 stars cant fault it at this price, 24 Feb 2011

i got this to replace a tarp of similar material and weave (only silver coloured) which i bought 10 yrs ago for a 6 mth trip to oz, it survived the sun there and is still going strong after 9 yrs of 3 season use in the west highlands ! It will be used monthly for wild camping and fishing trips and will be close to open fires so if it only lasts a couple of years i'd consider that acceptable and a fire ember will do just as much damage to an mod issue tarp which costs 3 or 4 times as much! the weight is excellent for the price and size options are available, i think the 2.7 x 3.5m is most versatile - loads room for 1 to bivvy under, even if rigged to give groundsheet, side and top cover style and easily covers 2 or 3 sitting by the campfire on a typical dreich scottish west coast evening. The original australian bashas are prob best u can get for weight and quality but again cost much more, i'd rather use a cheap tarp that does the job, i dont care if it gets trashed and i'll spend the difference on petrol for an extra expedition to use the kit. i'll post again if any probs present themselves regards quality but i expect it'll do what it says on the tin. Arrived in 2 working days to a rural location - good work fella !
