I do like Karen Rose's books but this one was just the same as all the others.
I gave it 2 stars because the plot was good that it made me want to keep reading. That was the only good I liked, eveything else annoyed me.
Karen said in the acknowledgements that she was asked to create a heroine that was a bit different, this was a lie. The heroine was the same as always, in trouble and then the man comes along and saves the day, thats what it always seems like to be. You always know what's going to happen and I never like that feeling while reading a novel.
The relationships are always annoying and the same. And the sex is just cheesy.
The books could be more realistic, as in not always an happy ending. Not even that, but not make all the books familiar. Whats wrong with mixing it up a bit?
