Since being fortunate enough to receive a sample chapter, I was looking forward to the launch of this book. And I wasn't disappointed. It's a practical "how to" book, and many of the business principles can be applied to life too. Full of ideas and inspiration, it's a must read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Invaluable Advice from Experts, 20 Jun 2013

To get such a combined amount of wisdom and experience, and put it all together into one book, is quite a feat. But I'm glad it was done. I really enjoyed this book.

Even better, I gained some valuable life wisdom from it. As well as writing about the wisdom of life lived, the book contains lots of direct quotations from people who have lived life to the full. And it's not just success stuff; there's so much to learn from people's mistakes too.

Very well written - and highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars More than I expected, 20 Jun 2013

When I downloaded this Kindle book, I expected the standard information on link building. But it contains ideas I hadn't even considered. For a relatively short book, it's packed with quality information. I've just bought his other SEO book as a result.

A case of good from bad. An inspiring personal story of what appears to be a disaster which turns out to be the best thing that could have happened to him. Inspiring, encouraging and motivating. Thanks Pat!

It's clear from how the book is written that the author is a care worker who loves what she does and wants to help others to be able to care. Although it's a relatively short book, it contains practical advice and detail. It appears to be the first of a series within the caring topic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely practical, 28 Sep 2007
Before starting to trade in shares, I decided to read as many books as possible on the subject. This was the 10th book. I wish I'd read it first. It is an extremely practical book, and I have used its guidelines and principles to buy into two stocks which are both doing very nicely.

Andy sings the songs with passion. Still not convinced it's with the same passion he sang with on the X Factor show, but that's TV! An excellent album from an excellent singer!

5.0 out of 5 stars Top Class Camera, 12 May 2006
Having read the reviews, I was keen to purchase the S3 on its release. My first impression was its size. How do they manage to get all the facilities normally found on a good SLR into such a small case?

The camera is easy to use, yet extremely flexible. The shutter lag is noticeably shorter than my previous camera; you can fire off several rapid consecutive shots. I purchased a high speed card to make sure it wrote to memory quickly - good investment; and the 4 NiMH batteries (purchased separately) don't want to die. Super macro mode allows close ups of tiny daisies (you'll use whatever you can find to try it out) which fill the PC screen with brilliant clarity. Who needs interchangeable lenses, when the S3 sports a 12x zoom which will go from wide angle to max telephoto in 1 second (you can vary it to zoom slowly too). The results so far have been excellent. Well worth the investment!

BT Freestyle 300 1100mAh battery PT6PBC
BT Freestyle 300 1100mAh battery PT6PBC

1.0 out of 5 stars Different Battery, 5 May 2006
The battery supplied was a NiCd rather than a NiMH battery. It was 300mAh rather than 1100mAh. It was physically too small for the BT Freestyle 300 telephone. I returned it for a refund. The supplier later informed me that they have not made this battery for 3 years and therefore offered this as a replacement.
