Bought this a long way back - it took a while to come (it was Xmas though) and I use it on both my Sony HC1 and HC5 HD camcorders - sp good I use it most of the time - quality of image excellent - lets you shoot more in tight spaces (in cities) for example.

4.0 out of 5 stars the best of chimes, 7 Sep 2012

We already hd this brand of chimes but the bell push casing had broken after many years. By getting a new bell push plus a spae chime for just over a fiver was great value - now I can hear the dor bell when in the den upstairs with loud rock music! Not 5 stars as chimes are not top sound but value is outstanding.

4.0 out of 5 stars EFFECTIVE SONY PRODUCT, 21 April 2012

Looks the business - Sony design good - small and neat. Plug and play so straight to work. Burned a re-writable Sony bluray disc quickly and successfully as well as DVDs. Only disappointment was that it would not read a once only bluray disc made on another PC. But it reads the bluray I made on my PC and CDs and DVDs. The USB leads are very short and should be longer - as it is the small box sits on top of my desk top PC.

5.0 out of 5 stars AN IMPRESSIVE READ, 20 May 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I had hear excerpts from David Reynold's "Empire of Liberty" read on BBC Radio 4 - who serialised this book. I had encountered David Reynolds on BBC TV - for example his excellent series on world summit meetings.
I have always been interested in the history of the USA too but mainly through watching TV documentaries. In about 600 pages - David takes you through the last 400 or so years of american history at quite a pace. Key characters are fleshed out well. He has an eye for a telling quotation from those there at the time. Though quite a long book the pace is quick - the second world war only lasted less that 4 years for the USA so in a few pages we are into the cold war. Some may not like the considerable space devoted to social history as against political or economic history - but that comes down to personal interests of the reader. But no this is the Bizz!
