4.0 out of 5 stars Good book But!!!, 22 Sep 2008
Great book, the history and maps are brilliant. However, it is too pro Loyaist British and plays down the murder that they are responsible for throughout the ages. It does have a jibe at the Republican movement which isn't fair at all seeing as they are 100% right and the Loyalist/British/Unionist TOTALLY 100% WRONG!!!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars British Blarney again, 10 Sep 2008
Once again the British try to redeem themselves of their reign of terror in Ireland. The book has some personal relevant points but only to the deluded clones who supported the British ruling class by fighting for them in the first place.Regardless of how many books that will be written to absolve the British in Ireland's past or to lessen the reign of terror they inflicted on civilians (local business's and ordinary men women children homes) it will not work. To quote Thatcher 'a crime is a crime is a crime,' and L George and Churchill as well as Thatcher (later on) are all as guity as each other for the crimes they have committed against Ireland, regardless of the front line soldier mentality who try to justfy their prescence in a location they should not be in.The British have always caused mayhem and murder to keep their elites rich and when the victims strike back they call them terrorists, and when they are getting beat they always play dirty and strike at very soft targets like bombing burning and plundering the local non combatants. They are better when they are fighting Zulus armed with spears against their heavy field guns that keeps the myth of great empire garbage going.

1.0 out of 5 stars Utter imperialistic rubbish, 9 July 2006
There should be minus ratings this would have recieved the maximum. Hart is a joke, his pro British attempt to re-write factual history is a disgrace to the Irish people, this is just another cover up, an attempt to keep the British propaganda machine wheels turning, UTTER RUBBISH!Do yourself a BIG favour dont waste your money on this book. Buy Liz Curtis, 'Ireland The propaganda War', this book isn't fantasy, its all hard cold proven documented facts. Hart is a JOKE!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 11 Dec 2005
I recommend this book to any person who is interested in Psychotherapy/Counselling of any particular approach /model. Ride the storm of existential anxiety with Yalom as your Captain who freely admits of his existential anxiety, shares his experience of countless case histories. This book is not just for those who are training in counselling, etc.The book is easily read by the layman though a dictionary is required for some single words, the content/ context is always very understandable and crystal clear. Yalom writes with such eloquence and is a gripping author. A pleasure to own, this book is a text book for me.

No One Fears When Angry!: The Psychology of Confrontation

5.0 out of 5 stars A first class book dealing with the reality of human nature, 1 Mar 2002
Jamie okeefe has excelled himself in this book by revealing traits that are common to us all, the good the bad and the indifferent, and his own personal example of how he dealt with the hardships he has encountered throughout his life. This book it not a "how to do it" book, its a "how not to do it" book.First class advice and age old tried and tested wisdom runs throughout this book from begining to end. If you are a mixed up bully, or a bullied frightened person then this book is definatley for you. If you think that you are neither read this book and learn some cold hard facts about yourself, honest reality at its best.
