3.0 out of 5 stars The Wrestlemania that gave birth to the WWF'S attitude, 27 May 2000
All in all not one of the best Wreslemanias I have seen.Wrestlemania 13 features only six matches, so includes often long, hard to watch contests that although are good on wresteling content, are thin on the ground in explosive moves and out of ring brawling that we are now so used to seeing. The first three matches of Wrestlemania 13 are mediocre to say the least and are no way up to the standard of the rest of the card. However the Austin v Brett "Hitman" Hart helped to pull this Wrestlemania from being one of the worst of all time to a fairly good one.The match has every thing that a wrestling fan could possibly want, from in crowd brawling to technical wrestling and a great example of why Austin is the most popular, toughest S.O.B in the WWF today. The next match being a Chicago street fight between the Nation of Domination and the Legion of Doom and Ahmed Johnson, suggest only one thing......VIOLENCE! and lots of it.This match has an abundance of chair shots, weapons, and in and out of ring brawling that will have you wincing in pain at many of the of the moves. The final match between the Undertaker and Syco Sid is a fairly solid performance, however on occasions is painfully slow. The inclusion of Shawn Michaels on colour commnetary and the continuous interruptions of Brett Hart at ringside make this an entertaining match to watch. Also be sure to check out the Rocky Maivia v Sultan match, which shows just how much the Rock has come along since his early WWF days. This is not a bad Wrestlemania but not one that I would recomemnd if bone crushing action and insane tumbles and falls is what you're after.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the biggest and greatest Wrestlemania's of all time., 27 May 2000
This is without a shadow of a doubt the greatest spectacle the WWF has ever staged. The 93,000 strong crowd (which set the indoor attendance record)at the Pontiac Silverdome creates an unbeleivable atmoshphere, and features many top quality matches. The main event being the "immortal" Hulk Hoagn v Andre the Giant, is a solid performance from both wrestlers however due to Andre's lack of in ring ability is slightly slow.In other matches Ricky the Dragon Steamboat takes on the Macho Man Randy Savage for the intercontinental championship. This match is easily the best match of Wrestlemania 3 and a top contender for one of the best matches of all time. The Haircut match between Rowdy Roddy Piper and the Adorable Adrian Adonis,is fueled with emotion as it is Rowdys last match(even though he has made multiple comebacks since),and adds along with the King Kong Bundy's Midget match , a dose of humour to the Wrestlemania.Along with other top performences form stars such as Hercules,Brutus the Barber Beefcake,The Fabulous Rougeous, the Hart Foundation and The British Bulldogs. And guest appearneces from Aretha Franklin and Alice Cooper help to make Wrestlemanina 3 possibly one of the best Wrestlemania's ever.A must buy for any serious wrestling fan.
