I also made the mistake of rushing out and buying this textbook as it was labelled 'the one to buy'. Although colourful and on the surface well presented, its sadly lacking alot of content and is difficult to learn from. The individual topics are poorly structured, and it is difficult to grasp concepts from the text. What makes this book particularly bad is its poor management sections, and I often came away after reading about a topic completely befuddled about how to approach this aspect of the disease in question. It oocasionaly even achieves the frustrating 'negative learning' experience where you end up more confused about a subject after reading about it!
Sadly it neither fits the bill as a 'crash course' crammer for finals nor a comprehensive enough text for reference or presentations.
