4.0 out of 5 stars Macdonald's debut is dazzalingly vivid and frightfully real!, 8 Aug. 2004
For anyone who is a fan of psycholgical thrillers then this is the book for you! Hector Macdonald's debut novel is excellently written, his discriptions feel like you're there, each chapter ends dramatically, leading on intensley into the next. Right up there with the beach, Macdonalds style is so intensley ingulfing that it comes very close to rivaling the edge of your seat twists of Thomas Harris (Black Sunday, Silence of the Lambs). A must read, intelligent, sexy and very very dark.

3.0 out of 5 stars Getting caught up in the Enigma world., 24 Feb. 2003
This review is from: Enigma (Paperback)
Enigma, is the second novel from former political reporter Robert Harris. The book is hugely entertaining and packed full of facts. Harris' attention to detail is quite remarkable. Though Enigma dosn't have the pace of Harris' previous novel Fatherland, I just could'nt put it down. The historical facts make this book believable. A must read for everyone.
