1.0 out of 5 stars Benny Hill was indeed considered funnier than Monty Python!, 11 Dec 2012
Why not get Hill DVD's instead of this or any other Python material. Bio The Benny Hill Story (by John Smith) showed this of Hill!

3.0 out of 5 stars When Hawkeye mentions the overrated Titanic, 13 Jun 2012
This comes in the ep that introduces Col. Sam Flagg. Speaking of the Titanic books ("did these stories really happen") show that it was far less important than the Lusitania ship (as the Lus brought the US into World War One and the Titanic sinking brought no country into anything!).

4.0 out of 5 stars Book shows there was some wmd in century 21 Iraq after all, 7 Jun 2012
Though "author" Powell calls them something like wmd-related debris it is pretty obvious he is referring to the wmd discovered in Iraq and referred to at wikileaks and in webpages like "Saddam's WMD: Discovery and Denial".

1.0 out of 5 stars The Lusitania was far more important than this overrated event this film is based on, 31 May 2012
This review is from: Titanic (ITV) [DVD] (DVD)
Books like "Did these stories really happen" show that the Lusitania indeed brought the US into WW1---the TItanic sinking brought no country into anything. Forget this and other Titanic-themed films.

1.0 out of 5 stars Jeers------ she refuses to give any right wing institutions a full thumbs up, 22 Mar 2012
Look she wrote about how the US built so many missiles to compete with the USSR and she calls it like necessary but bizarre too. Huh? What was so bizzare about the US building lots of nukes to compete with the soviets?
Other problems abound in this bad left-wing book by this not nice lady.

1.0 out of 5 stars The Lusitania ship was so much more than the ship this bad, cheesy film is based on, 12 Mar 2012
This review is from: Titanic [1998] [DVD] (DVD)
Books like "Did these stories really happen" (sold over at the american amazon) show that the Luistania being bombed brought america into World War One in 1917. Where as the Titanic sinking brought no country into anything. Recent magazine articles talk about the Titanic's reception on the internet but they don't nastily mention how the ship has been long considered on the internet to be way less important than the Lusitania.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb autobio indeed, 6 Jun 2011
We learn much about the talented and beautiful Waltons actress who played Erin throughout the show's entire 9-year run! Good opening by series creator Earl Hamner Jr. as well!

3.0 out of 5 stars A little too left-wingish was this last ep of Mash, 27 May 2011
Despite its enormous TV ratings in the US this last ep like the series itself must be watched with caution of its overly left-wing principals! It puts down Syngman Rhee's anti-communist South Korea in one scene when the mash gang are talking to Hawkeye on the phone!
