Great design which enhances and protects the Paperwhite, 24 Mar 2013
The case is designed so the Paperwhite fits into it easily and snugly. It is slim and lightweight so the Paperwhite is still compact and easy to hold in one hand. The case is also strong and has a soft interior to the front cover so the device and screen are well protected when carried in a bag. The magnetic clasp is strong and clips shut firmly and best of all the device switches off when the cover is closed and on when the cover is opened. So to summarise the case is attractive and well designed and enhances the Paperwhite as well as protecting it.

Inspiring book, lovely projects, 8 Feb 2013
This book focuses on a number of crochet techniques, such as lace, cables and Tunisian crochet, and provides a range of projects using each technique. There are small projects to get you started and larger projects with differing levels of complexity and design ideas to follow on. The projects are varied and inspiring and made me want to start crocheting right away! There is something here for every taste and skill level and plenty of challenges for those who would like to extend their crochet skills. Each project has an introduction from the designer, plenty of photos and detailed instructions including charts. The designers who contributed include many well known knit and crochet designers. Altogether a lovely book.

It works!, 27 Dec 2012
Put the baffle on my feeding station. No more squirrel problem. I've seen squirrels eyeing the food and they have several times tried to climb up the pole. Each time they reach the baffle and can't get ant further. They just slide back down the pole. Mostly they don't bother any more. Brilliant, I'm delighted with it.

Great product, supplier could have packaged better, 27 Dec 2012
The puppets are beautifully designed and made, with lots of detail. They are a nice size, larger than I expected. They could be used as toys or puppets because of this. They come in a presentation box, ideal for gifting. In my opinion they are excellent value for money. The supplier posted them in an un padded envelope and so the box got slightly squashed, which was a shame, although the puppets weren't damaged at all. I bought another set from a different supplier who used bubble wrap and the box arrived in pristine condition.

Another great read from Camilla Lackberg, 21 May 2012
In this book, Patrik and Erica have a baby, and Erica is suffering from post-natal depression. This links them to the family whose daughter is found murdered at the start of the book, as Erica has met and become friends with the girl's mother, who also has a young baby. The story is well-written and is as full of twists and turns, and links to the past, as all of Camilla Lackberg's books. Secrets are gradually revealed about the family who lost their daughter, some reaching back many years, until finally the truth is laid bare. An excellent and gripping book, in which I was pleased to meet the likeable Patrik and Erica again.

Stunning designs and well written patterns, 21 May 2012
This book contains patterns to crochet a series of intricate lace doilies. The instructions are clearly written and explained and photos of the end result for each doily are provided as well, which is sometimes helpful if you can't quite work out how it is supposed to look. I found the patterns challenging and rewarding. You don't have to be an expert in crochet to master the techniques (although you do need to be confident with the basics) and the designs are innovative and absolutely - gorgeous! Note: crochet terms used are US

A Great Read, 9 Mar 2012
What a great read! Funny, sad, tense and fascinating for its insights into the two sides of society in Mississippi in the 1960s. I really enjoyed the story, the characters and the descriptions of life in the American South. The characters were believable and well written. The plot is cleverly constructed and has some interesting twists.

Exciting Vegetarian Recipes, 30 Jan 2012
Since buying this book a few weeks ago I have made four of the recipes, some of them several times. They were all well explained, easy to make and absolutely delicious. The ingredients and flavours combine classic with innovative. My favourite at the moment is Vegetable Biryani, but I have several others queued up to cook, so this could change! I am not a vegetarian, but I like to eat a diet rich in vegetables, and full of flavour and texture. This book has re-energised my cooking and got me experimenting with tastes and ingredients. I'm really looking forward to trying out some of the salad recipes this summer.

Excellent all round knife set, 29 Jun 2011
My daughter asked for some kitchen knives for her birthday, and as I already had an Antony Worral Thompson set I thought I would get her the same. The set is neatly stored in a sturdy roll with handles for easy carrying. There is a range of knives for all kitchen purposes and for carving, along with a steel to keep them sharp. They are VERY sharp and good quality knives with a nice weight to them, and are well balanced and attractive.

Readable and practical guide to saving money, 8 May 2011
I enjoyed this book, which is written in a relaxed and readable style and is packed with practical tips and guidance for saving money while not sacrificing your standard of life - in fact quite possibly improving it! I did know some of the tips, but there were also a lot of things I hadn't thought of. All the suggestions are explained clearly - both why they make a difference and details on how to carry them out - and are based on research, data and experience, so really work. You can pick and choose which things appeal to you and you will still get benefit from trying them out. The book includes tips on growing your own produce, storing it, making preserves, how to shop more effectively at supermarkets and waste less, and many more. It's great value for money and I thoroughly recommend it.
