having been an avid cilla fan all these years she has not been as well served on the cd front as this new selection of friend and rival Ms Shaw cds recently released. Heard bits of it on spotify and just had to have it to play in the car etc......exccentric selection-wonderfully packaged and superbly re-mastered selection of very good stuff. Has become a major favourite....

really good service-wanted this for a long time to add to collection-price was superb against other sources selling this quirky set of show tunes from Mr Herman. Plot wise it is complete bonkers but as a set of wonderful songs brilliantly performed it is on equal footing with the best musical work out there.

despite showing 2 mugs (now realised as each side) the thought was that I was getting 2 mugs for my £13 plus the use of the wording pragramme 2 again inferred that ther were 2 in the set for your money-must read these things more carefully and not do it at 3am!

Price: £11.30

5.0 out of 5 stars MARTIN GUERRE, 4 Sep 2011
At the time of writing still my favourite musical alongside CHESS, Follies, Show Boat, Wicked and Seussical.

The tunes are brilliant and the lyrics expressive. The second half Court Room scene is reminiscent of One Day More but but more multi layered.

Sadly continues to be overshadowed by previous works ( in similar vein, Kander and Ebb's Kiss of the Spiderwoman and The Rink are better shows than Chicago, yet Chicago remains the more popular) but SO deserves such more acclaim and interest.
