You wait for great historical adventure to be published and like buses; two come along at the same time. First I read the outstanding The Red And Savage Tongue (A tale of ethnic cleansing in the Dark Age forests of 5th century England)
by F J Atkinson. My next read also sent me to escapist heaven. Lupo’s ‘Pirates of Savannah’ weaves a great story line involving great, believable characters. Light hearted, yet weighty enough to keep the reader absorbed, ‘Pirates’ is a well researched, beautifully written account of the search for freedom in a new, emerging world. If reading for you is about pure enjoyment, then follow this author’s work and you will achieve your goal. Well done Tarrin Lupo – keep writing ‘great reads’…please!
