Rubbish. God Awful. Waste of Money. Buy a stick instead., 20 Jun 2012

I really don't know how some people find this toy in any way entertaining. First of all, we couldn't find the butterflies when we unpacked it.
My twin boys were really excited, having seen the advert on tv and were waiting impatiently with their nets. And we couldn't find the butterflies.
So we went to return it. To be told to unpack the elefun, undo the 'trunk' and take out the butterflies that were packed INSIDE the elefun. Wasted trip to Toys R Us, but Never Mind. Had to deal with really unhappy twin toddlers, but Never Mind.
Got home, stuck in brand new batteries. Only to see one butterfly struggle to emerge from the blasted trunk. And then drop like a lead balloon, hardly giving a child time to blink let alone attempt to 'net' it. Waited several minutes, and another crippled butterfly attempts to escape the bloddy thing. And 'bonk'. Not 'flutter'. 'Bonk'. Even before you could swing the net.
After several attempts, we realised that this is really all there is. Truly one of the most expensive, disappointing, waste of time/money/effort. I'd like to see how this passed QC. Nothing worse than trying to pacify disappointed, unhappy toddlers.
Really. Buying A stick to beat up the damn toy designer would be a much more entertaining prospect. Hmm. Perhaps I can get rich with this idea...
