Why I like old films., 25 Nov. 2011
This 1952 film was one I saw as a very young woman. I recently read somewhere that there are 100 books everyone should read before they die. One was "To kill a Mockingbird".
Being so much older now, I could remember the ethos of the film, but not the substance, (except that Gregory Peck was one of my favourite stars at the time).
I borrowed the book from the library, and my daughter on seeing it thought she would like to read it also, but lives 200 miles away.
So I bought it on Amazon, and THEY came up with the suggestion re this DVD.
I was thrilled to purchase it, as I really just love the old films and stars of my teenage era.
Old Timer I may be, but I know a good DVD when I see one!!!( and so inexpensive)
