5.0 out of 5 stars Another great revision guide., 29 Mar 2013

This book is so useful when revising for the Russia exam. When used alongside the OCR core text (Holland) it summarises what you have learned, which is ideal when you want to review your studies and perhaps are not sure what to start on. It is also great to delve into as exercises can take anything from two minutes to an hour or so. This book is now recommended by my school as a primary tool for revision, and for AS level, the Germany one is brilliant too. Please note, if this book is used on its own it will not provide enough detail to answer (or pass the) exam [questions], it is designed to jog your memory, and help you see what you need to brush up on.
Overall, I would say that it is a must for any A level history students who are studying this area, and is good value compared to other texts which promise too much and rip you off.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really handy, 29 Mar 2013

glows well and is really bright. Great value for money, I would suggest pressing the button several times to soften the plastic as it is a little stiff and difficult to turn on straight out of the packet.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for those 'tight spots!', 25 Feb 2013
This is a great brush for watercolours, gouache, oils and acrylics -I have tried it on all four. Personally, I think this brush is best for watercolour use as it is quite firm, but it needs to be otherwise when filling in your 'tight spot' you might go over crucial borders! I'm an art student, and apart from the price of some of the brushes in this range, I can't really fault these brushes;-I think these are really good all-rounders, and I particularly like the size of the handles and the actual brush sizes themselves. I highly recommend!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good!, 3 Feb 2013

A lot more vibrant than in the picture, and a bit more purpley- it's more of a cornflower blue, but it still matched what I needed it for, nice soft pile.

4.0 out of 5 stars cool clock, 3 Feb 2013

Easy to tell what the time is, although sometimes your eyes play tricks on you when trying to count which black 'spoke' the hands are on... :P Overall a great clock, well made and super retro!

These plates were delivered super quick and the colour is nice and vibrant. They are strong and in my opinion, much more stylish for your party than the boring round plates..

Good quality print, not too shiny and 'new' looking with the fake rusted edges, a great addition to the bar!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but a little disappointing, 3 Feb 2013

This is exactly what it says on the box, a 60 card pre-chosen deck with one shiny, one coin, damage counters, instructions and a mat....These decks are good for starting your collection, or for adding a particular type (i.e Dark) to your collection, but it's a shame that the cards are exactly the same for each deck-unlike the boosters where you have a chance to get a rare version or an uncommon version of the same card... If you had the chance to get different versions within this deck it would make things more interesting when playing with the deck as different versions sometimes have different abilities or levels... Other than that, the cards were great, and brought back memories when I opened them..

5.0 out of 5 stars Love the fruit ice cubes, 3 Feb 2013

Only thing that is bad about this set is that the acrylic shaker will probably break if dropped-so stay away from it if you like to mix cocktails when you're already drunk! The recipes on the side are good though, especially as you can make either three or six of the drink at once- which is handy when you don't need to keep mixing them after every drink...

4.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly hard to put down..., 3 Feb 2013

I was a little skeptical at this being a free book, but that's just clever marketing as it means that you want to buy the next one! The characters are very likable, although I can't help but feel that the story line is like fifty shades, with the rich famous guy and the innocent, slightly naive girl...It's a good read though if you enjoyed the Fifty shades series, or if you're new to this 'contemporary romance' genre...
