4.0 out of 5 stars You gotta be glad Bucky ain't yours, 11 Jun 2003
A little book of fun from Get Fuzzy. A US cartoon strip yet to make it over here, Get Fuzzy is fantastic and this little book is no exception. Based aroud the reasons why you were given the book rather than a cat, it features the strips resident feline Bucky, a vain and self serving Siamese. Full of wonderful drawings and funny images this will be a big hit for both cat realists and comic strip lovers.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this cartoon, 11 Jun 2003
I first came across Get Fuzzy in Wisconsin in 2000, alas it appears not to have crossed the Atlantic yet, to feature in our newspapers, and this is a terrible shame. The cartoons are witty, clever and wonderfully drawn. Satchel is the dumb half labrador/half wrinkle dog cross, Bucky is the vain, meglomaniac Siamease and Rob is thier poor owner :)
This book includes such highlights as Cat quotes - Bucky's take on some famous speachs, poems etc. and Why Bucky and Satchel aren't aloud out on their own. Buy it now, you will not regret it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Something a bit different., 11 Jun 2003
A unique and amusing twist on an old tale, David Lee Stone has created a fantastic cast of characters who inhabit a well thought out and believable world. This book is a must for everyone this summer. A great read for adults and children alike, Ratastrophe Catastrophe had some genuinely funny parts. One even made me laugh out loud - but if I tell you more I'll spoil the book, so you'll just have to read it for yourselves.

This review is from: The Golden One (Hardcover)
One again Peters has written a book a that I couldn't put down. A fan of the Amelia Peabody fan I look forward to each installment and she does not let me down. The family continues to expand, mystery continues to stop Emerson excavating and the mysterious Sethos continues to surprise. As always a fantastic read a must for lovers of the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Searching for treasure!, 11 Oct 2001
Platypus is looking for a shell. He finds one on the beach but it mysteriously dissappears once he gets it home. Chris Riddell cannot be praised highly enough, the drawings are as always wonderful, detailed and charming. The story is simple and sweet. A real gem of a picture book.
