5.0 out of 5 stars My Friend Jesus, 29 Oct. 2011
This review is from: My Friend Jesus (Paperback)
In "My Friend Jesus," Cephas confronts religion - eyeball to eyeball just as Jesus did in the gospels. The story takes place in the town of Kidron where Cephas, who was formerly a practicing psychologist, has an amazing encounter with a wise Sheppard who has lost his sheep.

The author was very creative and has a very unique writing style. I liked how he used scripture and presented them in the storyline. It is written in a way that helps readers understand the biblical view on sinners, salvation, faith, Satan, Heaven and Hell. I felt like the character's conversations were very realistic and I found myself laughing in some places and was moved to tears in others.

If you haven't made that decision yet and you're searching for answers, I think "My Friend Jesus" will help you understand Jesus and the Bible to make that life changing decision to accept Him as your personal savior. This could be the novel that could change their life!

Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Thrilling Modern Day End Times Scenario...., 28 Oct. 2010
This review is from: TWELFTH IMAM HB (Hardcover)
Wow! This book reads more like fact then fiction with today's headlines, "Tension rises in the Middle East as the leaders of Iran call for the destruction of Israel and the United States...."

In "The Twelfth Imam," tensions do rise as radical leaders of Iran are fixed on their "divine" responsibility to usher in their Messiah, the twelfth Imam by calling for the destruction of Israel and the United States.

David Shirazi, a disguised CIA operative is sent into the heart of Tehran to interrupt Iran's nuclear weapons program and stop Iran's plans to kill millions.

Soon rumors spread like wildfire across the Middle East that a religious leader has begun performing miracles and healings and is the prophesized Islamic messiah known as the Mahdi or the Twelfth Imam.

David Shirazi must act fast to save his country and the world as Iran prepares to strike Israel and bring about the End of Days....

According to the Shiite version of Islam the 12th descendant of Mohammed, known as the 12th Imam or the Mahdi, went into hiding some 1300 years ago. He is said to have gone into what Shiites call occultation, a kind of suspended state from which it is believed he will return. Shiites believe he will reappear before the Day of Judgment alongside prophet Isa, (Jesus) and will rid the world of wrongdoing, injustice and tyranny.

If you enjoy books on the end-times, be sure to check out Joel's other books such as The Ezekiel Option, The Copper Scroll, and Dead Heat. Also you might be interested in SCARS: An Amazing End-Times Prophecy Novel By Patience Prence or Edge of Apocalypse (End) By Tim LaHaye.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hope, 5 July 2010
This review is from: Fireproof (Paperback)
This book was taken from the movie "Fireproof."

It's about a firefighter named Caleb Holt whose wife of seven years, Catherine wants a divorce. Caleb has most lost all hope on his marriage but his father, John gives him a book called The Love Dare and challenges him to follow its steps before giving up.

This story is totally amazing and I highly recommend the book and movie to everyone! I wish this was on the best sellers list as it is very encouraging.

Some other good Christian fictions I recommend are Dogwood (Thorndike Christian Fiction) by Chris Fabry and if you enjoy a good end-times thriller, SCARS: An Amazing End-Times Prophecy Novel by Patience Prence
