I recently was desperate to purchase inexpensive wind chimes for my school percussion department. These "Tone Deaf" wind chimes are incredible value and sound great. Highly recommended.

French Organ Music Past and Present
French Organ Music Past and Present
by Harvey Grace
Edition: Paperback
Price: £18.01

4.0 out of 5 stars Grace and Favour, 8 Aug 2009
This book was written in the hey day of French Romantic organ music. Vierne had yet to write his latter organ symphonies and Messiaen was a mere teenager. Grace outlines French organ music from its origins in the Magnificats of Titelouze, through the important Livre d'Orgue of de Grigny, skips over Lefebure-Wely and places great importance on Cesar Franck's contribution to the founding of a proper French organ School in the middle of the nineteenth century. Grace's book is interesting to all organists: it was written at a time when English musicians were just beginning to appreciate the importance and finesse of French organ music. Buy it and enjoy it.
