5.0 out of 5 stars Another Winner, 23 April 2011
Last year turned Eurovision around

UK dropping to bottom in the final vote was the icing on the cake.

I'm still playing last year's album and in a year I bet I'll still be playing this - My money is on Romania but there are even more contenders for the top spot this year.

I don't think Blue will win, as the song is not strong enough - but they are well known, and sound performers and will put UK in top half I'm sure.

Bad animation - poor stories - I gave them to a charity shop in Bexleyheath Broadway - they may still be there.

We have quite a few WTP DVDs - keep this out of your collection

2.0 out of 5 stars Missing vital information, 29 Mar. 2010
this book is perfectly fine for someone new to the planning process - but most of the information is freely available on the internet.

When i hand over money for a book like this i want a clear insight into winning.

The authors need to add information on 'change of use' which is about the helping to unlock the strange and Misty world of council planning departments.

This has very little of what Winnie the Pooh is really about. The characters go to parts of Hundred acre Wood the well beyond the suspension of disbelief. And on top of this the storylines are very weak the quality of drawing is poor and there is this constant annoying background music.

We watch these DVDs once and they immediately go into storage. They were very cheap that they are not worth the money and I think they will be heading towards the charity shop very soon. But if you see it in a charity shop priced at over one pound for a box you might want to go for the cut glass fruit bowl instead.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic bonding for old and young, 2 May 2009
My 21-month-old son loves to sit and watch this with me (even on his own. He loved songs and characters; and I think this proves the Jungle book is truly a timeless classic. We haven't even begun to start on the interactive games and so I think this will be a DVD that will get many years of pleasure a lot of.

It is a simple story with a simple narrative. While it is sometimes in danger of becoming repetitive (quote you got to leave the jungle" "I don't want to leave the jungle want to leave the jungle "you've got to leave the jungle") the songs and characters hold it together, and the Time goes very quickly; watching it seems that only half an hour, and suddenly we're late for bed.

This is a "must buy"

Winnie The Pooh - The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh [DVD]

Price: £4.99

5.0 out of 5 stars All time classic, 21 Mar. 2009
This is a great great collection of short films shrunk together to make a long movie. It is very watchable and this is great for me as my 20 month old son insists on watching it three or four times a week. The stories are timeless, and I believe that all that Disney has done, is to turn this into a more slapstick based humour and is in the block, and this fits the film rather than a book. My son's favourite part is near the beginning where Winnie the Pooh swallows a large number of bees and then spits them out like a machine gun, but he can watch the entire one hour and 20 minutes from beginning to end all fascinated with every single part.

I particularly enjoy reminiscing on the stories, which are read as a child. Also the songs, which are very catchy in particular Heffalumps and Woozels (very conuzals).

This is these second favourite movie for my son, out of all of the Winnie the Pooh films that he has. I think it is probably his favourite song because his favourite character is take. He particularly loved parks where rabbit is tried to rebuild it was a house, and it keeps falling down; at 20 months old, he finds this absolutely hilarious every time he sees it. For me it is actually the least favourite of all of the Winnie the Pooh movies, I find the storyline a bit repetitive and the character motives are a little bit over the top and less relates more than the other the Winnie the Pooh films so the four-star rating comes from my son more than me.
