4.0 out of 5 stars Iron Maiden for No ! , my arse, 2 April 2010
I purchased this in regards to the Facebook club get Maiden to No ! to celebrate 30 years since this came out. To say its 30 years old it does still smack a punch, they were quite punky until Bruce came along.

4.0 out of 5 stars H P loveecraft fanclub, 23 Sep 2008
This is an enjoyable collection of short stories from Washington Irving to Stephen King. My favourites are Lovecrafts "the Call of Cthulu", Robert Blochs "Black Bargain", Clark Ashton Smiths "The Vaults of Yoh- Vombis" and the best "The Events at Poroth farm" by T E D Klein ,chilling indeed. H P lovecraft seems after Poe the most inflential writer of them all, casting his shadow over many of the stories.

4.0 out of 5 stars Down And Dirty Rock N Roll, 3 Sep 2008
This review is from: Early Recordings (Audio CD)
If you like your music with a real earthy bite , you cant go wrong here. I was first introduced to the great man by hearing Rumble on Pulp Fiction , now you can hear his influence in so many places. From the Fall to the Cramps , Link Wray`s guitar playing is a massive influence on rock music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sounds of the weird and wonderful, 13 Aug 2007
This review is from: Now We Are Ten (Audio CD)
This is a must for anyone who shares a love for the obscure and hard to find sounds from the sixties and seventies. Ranging from obscure horror film soundtracks (Blood On Satans Claw) to the delightful sounds from the Clangers. Much praise as well must go to John Camerons theme to Kes which is such a beatiful piece of music.
