1.0 out of 5 stars horrendous toy, 18 Mar 2013
This toy used to be on Amazon with loads of reviews saying it was dreadful. Now mysteriously it has appeared with no reviews. Don't buy this it's the worst thing I have ever bought. The inflatable ring won't lie flat and the mixture spills out. The mixture had to be mixed incredibly accurately 42ml if you can believe it of one of the ingredients. Tried my hardest to get even a little bubble out of it all afternoon and all I got was two very disappointed seven year olds. Shame on Amazon for selling this when they have seen the reviews and shame on the Science Museum for putting their world famous reputation on the line for this. All you get is a cheap inflatable ring and a wand and some glycerol. You even have to use your own washing up liquid and the instructions say you have to get non-scented washing up liquid !!!

1.0 out of 5 stars the worst toy ever, 20 July 2012
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This is the worst toy I have ever bought and I now have two very dissapointed seven year olds

The inflatable ring will not lie flat whatever we do
The plastic ring is too big to fit inside the inflatable ring
The handles for the ring would not attach
Only when you read the instructions does it tell you that it only works with some washing up liquids and NOT SCENTED ONES
Insufficient glycerine is included

I kid you not the instructions state "To make the bubble mix add this 25ml of glycerol to approx 42ml of washing up liquid and 1267ml of water"

Just off to put the whole thing in the bin

Shame on Amazon for selling this and on the Science Museum for selling it's world class reputation so cheaply

5.0 out of 5 stars good customer service, 5 Mar 2012
This review is from: Split Wall Mounted Air Conditioner
This company has great customer service. I bought an air conditioner and had various queries and Andrew from Innovate was really helpful. It's great to deal with a company where you get through to someone who really wants to help rather than a voicemail or impersonal customer services who don't really care. Thanks Andy

3.0 out of 5 stars Beware, 14 Jan 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this device because I am quite techy and wanted to be able to switch on and off the central heating from outside the house. I didn't anticipate how utterly impossible it would be to work. I had a plumber who has a masters in computer science with me and the manufacturer help desk on the phone and after three hours we managed to get a local connection i.e. it worked in the house. However once you do manage to get the thing up and running it does do what it says which is a bit of a revolution

1.0 out of 5 stars no screen protection, 3 Jan 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I am disappointed in the Decagirl cover, several times in the write up it states that it is anti-glare which lead me to believe it covered the screen. In actual fact the product is a thin piece of stickyback plastic which covers some of the case but not all and provides no screen protection (the most vulnerable part).
Still need to find a case now.

1.0 out of 5 stars disappointed, 30 April 2010
= Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Orchard Toys Tell The Time (Toy)
I usually love orchard games. I have several and they are great fun. But very disappointed with this one. The title implies it helps with telling the time but it doesn't. In schools time is taught via the quarter and half hour and most importantly o'clock. This game however refers to 7.00am or 8.30pm which is completely different. It's also possible to play the game without any reference to telling the time by just matching the picture on the card to the picture on the board so children don't have to tell the time at all and it becomes just a normal lotto game. It would be lovely to see a game which actually deals with telling the time in a way that children would learn. My bright five year old played this with me and is none the wiser about telling the time
