If you can stand the Americanisation of an English literary classic (Gopher's in 100 Acre Wood) then you have a pack of good family entertainment films. All the favourite characters are here, everyone has a different favourite! The stories are enjoyable and easily followed. It is perfect entertainment for the family to sit around and watch. The only sad note is. It's surprising how many people think Disney actually created the lovable bear and his friends

I have bought a few of these books as my son will read, but finds it boring. He loves Lego and I have always believed the priority is to teach them to enjoy reading. He liked the story, the illustrations, the idea of being able read the whole story quickly and the ideas he got from it. That is why these books are good for him and I recommend them to any parents of young Lego loving chilodren.

Bought for my brother who thought it was wonderful. I'm afraid I don't share the opinion so I'll leave it at that

My young son is a Jackie Chan fan and loves his films. I bought this because it was a good price and I knew even in the early films (Where he was not the main star) there was usually a good deal of action for him to watch. Although it was hard to explain to him why the last two films were very nearly the same. If you want to see early films in the rise of a filmworld superstar then these films should be interesting to you. If you only like the modern film where you can hardly tell which parts are real and which are computer generated then avoid them!

My son will read but finds it boring and so at times seems slow, but like a lot of young children he absolutely loves Lego and these books are absolutely wonderful to him. He notices things in the illustrations and asks questions about them, and also finds ideas for his own projects. So I would reccommend this book to anyone who has a young child who likes Lego, but is bored by reading lessons.

4.0 out of 5 stars Typical Jackie Chan, 19 Aug. 2010
This review is from: Robin B Hood [DVD] [2006] (DVD)
Had a bit of a problem with the audio selection at the beginning, and I found the film not up to the usual standard of slaptick action as it tended to drag a bit at times, but I bought it for my 7-yr-old boy who thinks it is absolutely wonderful and was giggling happily throughout. And he does not see an older Jackie Chan just a very funny action star. So this why I rate it 4 Star Entertainment

I enjoyed this film immensely as the story like the acting was top notch, especially Jessica Lange who is playing an attorney defending her father, who is accused of atrocities during WWII and being the leader of an SS Death Squad. Lange does well as the faithful daughter who finds herself questioning her father's innocence as the evidennce seems to be mounting against him. If anything it may be slow in parts, especially the trial scenes, but it is still an absorbing film

I might be biased, but I like a lot of what Hans Zimmer has done and this soundtrack, like Pearl Harbor I find a lot better than the film. If you are expecting a thumping beat, then this is not for you. The opening song is of a Celtic nature and relaxing, and the majority of the soundtrack is melodic and enjoyable. I find it perfect as background music while I am messing about online

Bought for my brother and he was exremely happy as it was albums he had been after for a while and at a very good price, He had one of the albums and his friend bought it off him for a fifth of the price of the boxset and so both were happy. people complain they are in card covers, but they are kept together in a boxset and if this the way to get hard to find albums at a very good price, then carry on
As far as I am concerned a series well worth keeping an eye on.
