As a new writer I was delighted to be directed to a purchase of this book. It is invaluable for guiding you to correct usage of words/ spellings/ hyphenation etc. It is used by editors, proofreaders etc.and is a must-have resource for those embarking on a writing career.

Bought as a present for my son. Looks to be full of interesting and unusual stories about the racing world.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Witches' Tree, 14 April 2009
This review is from: The Witches' Tree (Paperback)
The story is paced like a thriller, with every chapter carrying the plot that much further towards resolution. It is,literally,a page turner, and there sre not many compliments higher than that. The fact the plot is one of the oldest - quite Bronte-esque - does not detract from its appeal. I love the way the supernatural creeps in right at the start, and keeps threading a way through all the other events in Maggie's life. It is a very satisfying read.
