Great book, as with all the others, and this is developing into a tasty little series but Brookmyre has done this before with Parlabane and left a strange feeling of loss when he discarded the characters.
This book is a must for every serious foody. Bought something bizarre to eat and have no idea what to do with it? This your starting place. Want to know what a coque is? Or a prik? Confused between sweetbreads and animelles? This will have the answer. Do you think Béatilles is a 60s pop band? Disabuse yourself. All the world's best chefs use this book.
