What Should I Do With My Life?

Price: £8.79

5.0 out of 5 stars Should be compulsory viewing for every schoolkid and every person making career decisions, 5 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Seriously, this should be made compulsory reading as it makes you realise that you are not the only person in the world who is at a crossroads or facing this decision. Most of all it gives you confidence that you can try and pursue which ever option you want and that its never finite, ie you can always change your mind or move on to a different option.

The best thing about the book is that it doesnt preach like many self help books, instead, it is just a collection of different people's stories, clustered on different themes, each one for you to consider and assess its applicability for you.

Without doubt I would definitely recommend this as essential reading!

4.0 out of 5 stars Lonely Planet Borneo just makes you want to explore more and more!, 5 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Book was great as always with Lonely Planet and it does become a bit of a Bible.

Would definitely recommend, the only problem is that you spend time discovering more and more places that you want to go visit that you find out you cant fit them all in on your vacation!! Other than its brilliant!

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product shame mechanism broke, 15 Jun 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This product is ideal for the kitchen and is really effective at enabling you to easily have the IPAD in the kitchen. It is designed well and simple to use.

Unfortunately with my product, within a few weeks, it looks as the threat has gone in the mechanism and it needs to be replaced..... (stocks are low so I will have to wait a month or so) but I was that impressed by the product that I am eagerly anticipating the replacement and hoping that it was a one off problem / fault.

Above all, I thought it is a really good way to bring the IPAD to the kitchen and keep it away from the dirty work surfaces....

Really impressed, just a shame that it broke the first time round, so hoping this isnt a weakness with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great story which ignites an interest in Africa and Elephants, 17 Jun 2007
Not being an expert in children's story, but knowing how some work and some don't, I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book as did the rest of the family.

In fact, I'm tempted to suggest that this kind of story should be read by all children at school and in bookclubs etc. Not only is it an great little story, but it draws the reader in, making you admire the way of life of the African plains, and the majesty of an Elephant herd, as well as allowing the children to learn about Elephants and imagine life out in Africa.

You really do feel that the story being told is a true and heartfelt tale from uncle to his beloved niece and it is so elegantly summarised in the opening letter, which sets the scene perfectly for the rest of the story.

Above all, I would thoroughly recommend this as a must read for all children. In a world where we often grow up way too quickly, this little classic is one which will excite any child's imagination of elephants and Africa as well letting them learn some valuable lessons for life.

I look forward to this author's next story and I hope you enjoy this as much as we all did.

It's definitely worth a buy!
