5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, 17 April 2007
Brianstorm - not my favourite, i think its good but not up there with any of the other singles. still, that doesnt make it bad since the previous album was a bit special. 8/10

Teddy Picker - catchy lyrics and guitars, probably one of the singles. 9/10

D is for dangourous - one of the heavier ones like brianstorm. another story which is what we like to hear! 8/10

Balaclava - not one of my personal favourites, id be amazed if it was released over some of the others. 7/10

Flourescent adolescent - good song, reminds me a bit of mardy bum which is always in its stride. 8/10

Only ones to know - slower song, which doesnt really go anywhere. not sure what its supposed to be, maybe its them 'maturing' as people love to call it. i personally dont think so. 6/10

Do me a favour - has to be a single. i can imagine it on in the night cllubs etc as a lot of their previous singles. very well written. 9/10

This house is a circus - ive read reviews that are fans of this song, so maybe its me. its good but i dont believe its one of the better on the album. 7/10

If you were there, beware - nice song. i like the guitar and drums in this one. still only an album song. 7/10

The bad thing - its alright once you get into it but im not a fan of the start. sounds like a micky take and i dont presonally think it beloings on this album, even though it is ok. 6/10

Old yellow bricks - amazing song, without a very catchy title it sticks in your head and will be a single. 9.5/10

505 - different by them. it builds up and builds up with one lyric that will make you shiver where he actually shouts a lyric. apparently about a girl in hotel room 505. my personal favourite. will be a single and will be one of the tunes of the year. 10/10

ive picked out 4 additional singles to brianstorm and i dont think ill be far wrong. its different to the last album, im not sure whether id say it was better or worse because i can remember how much i loved that last album.

being a massive creed fan i am also a big fan of scott stapps new solo album, i stumbled across this by accident and wasnt expecting much. i always thought of creed as scott stapp like he is now.
the musics great though as ever and the lyrics on some of the songs are great, puts lots of feeling back into it as creed always had!
id reccommend - go buy it!

4.0 out of 5 stars its all good, 30 Sept. 2005

first off, thses aint cashing in on the killers - face it.
i was quite simply bored and snooping around the net at gig reviews when 3 or 4 bands kept coming up.... they were all terrrible til the 4th time i downloaded a song and i was amazed at just like TV. on to the next song and again i found this band has so much depth.
it takes a few listens but once you get past the first shock that surely a band barely known (and apparently copying styles...?) can be that good, you realise they are.
recommend you buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive, 21 Aug. 2005

Kanye West in my opinion has something only one other hip hop artist (ie. eminem) currently has in his locker, the ability to flow along with ANY beat he feels like.
there are some amazing emotional songs on this track like 'addiction' and 'bring me down' but for me the best song is 'touch the sky' which uses a lively old tune in the background (i forget the name im too young!). its so upbeat and perfect as the 3rd song on the album as it really hits you.
only one song i am not a big fan of is 'crack music' featuring the game. i dont dislike it but i expected a better contribution from the game on this as i am a big fan of his.
all in all this is what i expected from kanye, continuing on from his first album. go buy it!!
