I had a good look at this book when it first came out. I thought it was good then and now I have bought it. This is an essential handbook on planning and gaining a graduate career for those students who will be graduates, tutors who will advise students, and parents who wish to give informed advice.
The book is clearly written with highlighted examples, definitions, and useful tips, so that what could be a rather dry subject is brought alive. It is in two parts: how to understand the graduate market, and how to get the most out of it. What is especially good about the book is the research underpinning of the labour market which feeds into very practical advice at all stages.
