'Quite a large, heavy book but a wonderful selection of pictures of London in the past, a book you can browse through time and again. Pictures that should not be lost, it is a London that has disappeared.
I had enjoyed Sheila Hancock's previous book but being a widow I was in two minds about reading 'Just Me' but once I started it I couldn't put it down. She has a very good optimistic way of looking at life and her enthusiasm in the places she visited made one want to get up and go. A very good read.
