5.0 out of 5 stars Good, solid and reliable, 5 Aug. 2010
I bought the Ixus 90IS 2 years ago, for my wife, replacing an old Ixus II film camera which served us well over the years.
Read the reports and reviews at the time, and was impressed. Went to the local camera shop to 'road test' the 90IS against alternative makes and also the newer Canon model that had just come out.
The stainless steel body for feel, compactness and build quality, the 3 inch screen for clearer views, 10 Meg, and the multitude of USEFUL facilities won the day for the 90 IS.
Bought it with a Sandisk 4GB Ultra SDHC, and CAnon DCC-60 Soft leather case (which fits perfectly.) Comes with its own battery and charger.
HAs been extremely reliable working in all climates (hot summer holdays (45 deg C +) to cold alpine (-20 deg C)) without fault.

Soul Collection - Back To Stax [2000] [DVD]
Soul Collection - Back To Stax [2000] [DVD]
Dvd ~ Alain Jaubert

4.0 out of 5 stars This is a must buy, 21 May 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this to augment my collection of soul dvds, and was not disappointed. The performers do their best, trying to relive those golden years of the sixties, punching out tune after tune.
It makes for a great nights viewing, glass of wine in hand, and the cinema sound on.
Buy this and enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does what it is supposed to, 21 May 2010
This was purchased for my mother to help her identify what day of the week it was. Being a pensioner, some days were not as busy as others and this led to confusion if she had to make new plans etc e.g. not being ready to go out at new times or days. This purchase has given her quick identification means and has helped , unbelievably, in her wellbeing!
Its 10 inch diameter, run by batteries (supplied), and identifies not only what day it is, but also what time in the day. It attaches to the wall via a screw hole in the back.
There are also many different styles available.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pity about sound quality, 13 May 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Purchased this as I like the early Rod Stewart / Faces music, this has the well know hits on it, and contains some film I've never seen before of the group performing. Down side is sound quality, from average to mediocre. Purchase only if you're a Rod nut and /or you don't care about the sound

4.0 out of 5 stars Performance, 13 May 2010
Groups / singers are only good live if you know that they will give a top performance. The miming girl/boy bands out there that kids (parents) pay top dollar to go to see, do not fall into this category.
This DVD does not fail one bit, Heather Small's punchy voice dominates the show. Ideal purchase for spending the night indoors, with the 'surround sound' on and the volume at 11, a glass of red wine and crisps at hand. Time and again watch the performance and you won't be bored. The quality of the DVD is good, the lighting and sound spot on, you will not be disappointed with the purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars Use gym and own Sansa E00 series? Use this, 12 May 2010
Simple, cheap and purposeful. Even use the outfit while cutting the lawn. Slight concern on wear quality between case and strap - have had mine over a year, using it constantly with just slight wear at this location - but hey it's cheap on Amazon and if I get another 1 maybe 2 years dead on. I've had to replace my 'phones alot more often due to wear and breakages.

4.0 out of 5 stars How could you forget Rosie ???, 12 May 2010
I bought the 'Rosie' single many, many years ago, copied the album onto cassette (remember them?) and just recently got round to buying CD.
Brian Johnson is GOOD (even remember him from Geordie days) but Bon Scott's rendition of Rosie is THE version to listen to.
Done live with the audience chanting ANGUS as if on cue between guitar chords, and then Scott starting off with his little story of Rosie, ooooerrrrr, goose pimples all over (volume at 11), you might be deaf for a while but you're happy.
The rest of the album is right up there with power and purpose, starting off with riff raff and the audience starting to warm up.

You won't be disappointed with this purchase (seen the price?)

4.0 out of 5 stars Have you heard of them ?, 11 May 2010
This is a group whose music would be played by Whisperin Bob Harris' late night radio 2 show. Late 60's classic rock and appeciated by the lovers of that type of music - few people would have heard of them.
But don't let that put you off - I saw them play on a documentary on TV a while back and thought mmmmmmmmm -might purchase that. Did purchase (what a price !!) and appreciating that I don't know their songs, I do like listening to them.
If you like the 60's rock scene, Fleetwood Mac, etc, add this to your collection, you'll not be disappointed - (even at Amazon's low price)

4.0 out of 5 stars Peter Green - what a talent, 22 April 2010
MAny people will only know of Fleetwood Mac - in the 70's - but not the 60's line up. The style and talent in the band should be appeciated more. The Stevie Nicks etc lineup definitly was GOOOOD and could only have been the path to go along for the band, but to me , Peter Green was Fleetwood Mac himself.
The best of is a purchase not to miss - buy, listen and appreciate his talent, as was.
