Cheap, does the job but there is better software available for slightly more money., 15 May 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
This accounting software is compatible with both Windows and Mac systems, I used a PC running Windows 7 -64 bit. It is ideal for small businesses requiring documentation and reporting on incoming and outgoing cash flow - sales, receipts, payments and purchases. I have used SAge software, and Quickbooks. This Express Accounts was easier to use than SAGE but not as good as Quickbooks. I go a bit frustrated by it at times, and tried the tutorial but the Americanisms were really annoying. I will stick with Quickbooks.

Ok for a night in, bit slow and contrived, 15 May 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
I sat down with my wife to watch this film, not knowing any of the actors. The plot could have come from any TV soap opera. The basic premise of a marriage on the rocks, meeting someone else and thinking the change of 'partner' would be good, has been explored many times. The acting was good and the Canadian scenery good but I got bored before the end.

Overpriced nonsense, 14 May 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
These are very attractive scales with a remote readout. The readout was placed on a window cill so that we can read it while standing straight. Up to eight people can have personalized readings which can be stored then downloaded onto a computer. I am a chartered engineer and have to query the accuracy of the conclusions regarding fat content, BMI, muscle etc. dubious. Reading taken minutes apart gave quite diffent answers. If I was in the market for a pair of scales to log weight loss / gain, I would buy cheaper ones and a notepad. Then a simple Excel spreadsheet.

If you are a fan of Pam Ayres, you will not be dissapointed, 14 May 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
I have been a fan of Pam Ayres all of my adult life. I used to own several records of her poetry. This recording shows she has not lost her touch, still making me smile. When the other 'artists' were talking however, it was sometimes a bit dull. The poems were great thogh, timing perfect as usual.

In my opinion, the BEST action camera available, 14 May 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
I fitted a 16 GByte memory card as the 4 GB supplied seemed too small and would limit recording time. The camera was charged overnight using the supplied cable. I downloaded an app onto my Samsung Galaxy tablet that easily connected to the Contour camera. This enabled me to view the picture, set the horizon, change settings and start or stop recording. It was simple to set up, and because of the built in laser level, it is easy to align. The lens is adjustable so that even if mounted on its side, a simple twist gets the horizon level. After a days fun, I returned home and the camera was connected to my conputer using the USB cable (which is also the charging lead) and I was able to view the recordings using the Contour Story teller software. The camera has built in GPS and its possible to view your route, speed and height. Because the camera is water resistant, there is no need to worry about light rain. A case is supplied for diving down to 60 metres but this dramatically reduces the sound volume. With the case on, the camera actually floats! I have not used the mounts supplied but bought the multi-purpose flex strap which is overpriced, be warned. This strap allows the camera to be securely mounted to various parts of a bike, frame, handlebars or goggle strap. I shot video at 720 resolution, 60 frames a second and also 1020 resolution at 30 frames a second. I prefer the 720 setting as the highr frame rate improves and suppresses any movement or vibration. There is also a slow motion setting. Picture quality is great, playing back on a 55" TV.

Very easy to set up, great sound quality, 9 May 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
I have used this to link my Samsung netbook to my Yamaha surround system and TDL-RTL3 speakers. There is a mains power adapter that plugs into the Aves unit then an audio lead which plugged into the amplifiers RCA auxilliary input. Setting up the Bluetooth link took a few minutes and once the netbook had been configured to output the sound through the bluetooth instead of its internal amp, we were away. Now my MP3 collection comes through my floor standing speakers, the quality is very impressive. A great bit of kit.

Very easy to use, great fun as well, 9 May 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
I have used video editing software before so I was able to run this straight away. I found the menus easy to understand and getting great results immediately. The animations, on-screen menus etc are very easy to configure. There are a good selection of formats to save your work in. Rendering was a lot faster than my old Pinnacle software. I can recommend this to newcomers and experts in video editig, 5 stars.

Very easy to set up, 20 minutes from box open to completion, 9 May 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
I had been using an old Belkin USB wireless adapter until I got the TP Link unit. I am running Windows 7 - 64 bit. The most difficult part of this instalation was breaking out the backplate on my Cooler Master tower. The module was plugged into the PCI-E socket and when the system was powered up, the drivers were found and installed. Configuration took a few minutes and I was back on my home network. File transfers to my NAS drive are much faster now, and I do not have a USB cable and adapter cluttering up my desk.

great value, simple to install, 25 April 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
We live in a large bungalow with my study at one end, and living rooms / bedrooms at the other. My main computer with ADSL modem is in the study. This modem has a wireless function but the signal strength is not good in the living areas. Our smart Samsung TV needed a good strong signal so we ran an RJ45 ethernet cable through the loft. My family complained that they were getting poor Wi-Fi connections on their laptops, iPads and Smart Phones. I have now fitted this Asus RT-N10E wireless router next to the TV and used the ethernet cable to link it to the modem, with the TV plugged into one of the 4 ports on the RT-N10E. Using the CD supplied, I installed the utility software on my laptop then configured the ASUS RT-N10 as an access point - from the Navigation menu, click advanced settings, administration, operation mode and select access point. I had to give it a network name and key. That was that! We now have a second wireless network plus 3 extra ethernet ports on the new router (the 4th has the TV) If you have set up a home network before, you will have no problems.

A vast improvement over our old hover mower, 25 April 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
The Black & Decker 1400w edge-max lawn mower came in a large colourful box. It was very heavy, the parts were inside, mostly in plastic bags. The assembly of the mower itself was largely straight-forward. I am an engineer and always read manuals twice! The grass box was tricky but with the help of a second pair of hands was soon done. The height adjustment for the rotary cutter blade is a simple lever and allows heights of 20mm to 70mm in 10mm steps. Much easier than the hover mower's add / remove washer system. As this was the first cut of the season, I set the height at 50mm. We have an old Flymo 'hover mower' which does not have wheels. The Black & Decker 1400w edge-max has wheels and requires a different technique. I had to walk in straight lines, turning at the end. Due to the size of the mower, turning took practice. The EdgeMax guides seemed to be a gimmick at first but there is no doubt I can get very close to the borders and paving. The cut was very clean and even. Having wheels helps to keep a consistent height. Grass collection was good. A few clumps fell out but a second pass soon sucked them up. The grass compactor lever meant fewer trips to the compost heap. The long power cable is great, one less extension cable needed. This mower is a vast improvement on our old one, I hope it lasts as long.
