5.0 out of 5 stars She's back and stronger than ever!, 22 Dec 2005
This review is from: Don't Forget About Us (Audio CD)
Following the only slight success of 'Get Your Number/Shake It Off' Mariah has released a corker in this attempt for christmas no.1! 'Don't Forget About Us' has everything for the perfect christmas number one spot, it's emotional, heartfelt and beautifully lyriced. I love the bit where she goes 'And if she got your head all messed up now, That's the trickery, she'll wanna have like you know how this lovin' used to be, I bet she can't do it like me, She'll never be MC' It's awesome!! Amazing song!! I will be buying!! Thoroughly recommended!!

The debut single from this young, sparkling phenomena that is Rihanna! This song, 'Pon De Replay' is one of my favourites of the year! It's a fantastic sing-a-long once you grasp the words, and a great dance song! All in all a great song!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great talent, ignore their private lives!, 2 Oct 2005
This review is from: All About Us [CD1] (Audio CD)
This is a great song from the russian duo thoroughly deserving reward. Top 5? Hope so. Their voices are great in this song and i'll tell you something, it doesn't matter what they do with themselves, or each other, the point is they are good singers who know what sells in the music industry. Highly recommended for all! 10/10!

5.0 out of 5 stars Years of Fantastic Country music enrolled into one! 10/10!, 15 Sep 2005
This review is from: Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
Martina McBride has certainly give Dolly Parton a run for her money over the past years as she points evidently at being one of the best country singers of all time. Boasting 5 no#1's and many more top 10 singles, this album is stuffed with roar quality! A fantastic collabaration of hits, and here's how they show:
1. My Baby loves me - 10/10 - A true country cheer up song with cheery lyrics throughout. A great hit with Martina's voice at it's ever best!
2. Life #9 - 10/10 - Great western tune with true country lyrics, you just want it to keep going. Great song.
3. Independence Day - 10/10 - A controversial phenomena with superb vocal and expressionate power from Martina. One of my favourites and a great version cover by Carrie Underwood(American Idol 4 winner)
4. Strangers - 10/10 - A beautiful ballad with amazing vocals from Martina. Great instrumental fading i noticed, really adds something to the song.
5. Safe in the arms of love - 10/10 - Another true western feel good which i personally love. Uplifting and understanding, great vocals too!
6. Wild Angels - 10/10 - Controversial once again, but still fab! I didn't know what to think of it at first, but the more you listen to it the more it sticks to you. Good
7. Valentine - 10/10 - This duet with Jim Brickman is really emotional and beautiful. Martina's voice sends shivers down your spine in this song. Beautiful
8. A Broken Wing - 10/10 - Another one of my favourites, but the great thing about this song is you don't need a video to picture it, it's pure and simple, and overall fab!
9. Happy Girl - 10/10 - A great country song with fantastic lyrics. I love this song personally, a great sing-a-long once you grasp the words!
10. Wrong Again - 10/10 - An emotional track that i love, it's really sad though, it really does send your heart to your throat, and i get overly emotional very!
11. Whatever you say- 10/10 - Her voice shines in this song, combining her pitch change with long notes was a wise choice, great song.
12. I love you - 6/10 - Very pop music, not one of her best, very cheesey. I think that's what put me off. Good try, but stick with your country Martina.
13. Love's the only house - 10/10 - A great song reflecting true scenarios, another good'en! Great expression used in the vocals too, enjoyed it!
14. There you are - 10/10 - A fantastic ballad that once again pulls at the heart strings, a moving ballad with Martina's voice reaching new heights of emotion
15&16. When God-Fearin' Women get the blues - 10/10 - A great country song. It's absolutely great! Fab vocals, a specific note hit by Martina is phenomenol! Lovin this song like!
17. Where would you be - 10/10 - An epic ballad that shows great hurt and distrust. Very, very, very emotional. Great song though!
18. Concrete Angel - 10/10 - Honestly my favourite on the album. It's so emotional and lyrically precise it just ticks all the boxes. Great! Really really great!
19. Blessed - 10/10 - A good latest song. A very poppish song, but still amazing! Great thought has been put into the lyrics and it has greatly paid off! Great!
Whether it's amazing notes, country kicking, slow ballads, emotional rollercosters or many more exceptional qualities you may adore, Greatest Hits by Martina McBride will indefinetly not disappoint you. This album is the best of it's kind in ages, so buy it before they run out! Because believe me they will! 10/10!

5.0 out of 5 stars Avril rocks out loud!, 14 Sep 2005
This review is from: Under My Skin (Audio CD)
Following the very succesful album 'Let Go' Avril Lavigne has done herself justice by producing an amazing album in 'Under My Skin' This album has so many different dimensions to it, it's so hard to know where to start. Well i'll start with my personal favourites, 'Don't Tell me' and 'My Happy Ending' The two have such ass-kicking dimensions to them and i love it. The words clearly show alot of hurt for Avril who mostly wrote this album herself. I can honestly relate to these songs, and the feeling and vibes you pick up from these songs is amazing and helps you realise you were right all along.
The rest of the album is as follows:
1. Take me Away - 9.5/10 - A great opener from Avril and co. The song holds many great instrumental performances as well as vocals.
2. Together - 10/10 - Another one of my favourites for this album, a great rock feel and fab lyrics. Excellent vocals from Avril considering the song is quite compact when it comes to breathing.
4. He Wasn't - 5/10 - Not Avril's best by a long shot honestly. This song just doesn't appeal to me and the lyrics are quite amateur for a pro like Avril.
5. How does it Feel? - 10/10 - A great controversial beautifully lyricated fluent song which shows off Avrils songwriting and vocal maturity.
7. Nobody's Home - 9/10 - After hearing the acoustic version of this song on a friends Cd i instantly fell in love with it. Although the original doesn't quite scratch up to the acoustic performance, the song once again shows Avrils songwriting maturity.
8. Forgotten - 10/10 - A great song which deserves praise. This song clearly shows Avrils frustration towards her ex and you know what, she put this down loud and clear! Great song with superb band
9. Who Knows - 7/10 - An ok song i suppose. You know what, there's really not much else i can say about this song.
10. Fall to pieces - 9/10 - Great song with good all round performance. Great instrumental influence, great lyrically, good vocally and once again overall great
11. Freak Out - 7/10 - Not most appealing, but still good work from Avril. I think it's the power level that doesn't suit avril, she needs to be her normal powerful self and be fab!
12. Slipped Away - 9/10 - Once again good lyrics, voice, instruments and tempo, good.
13. I Always Get What I Want - 10/10 - Great bonus, great to see Avrils roar attitude in this song, fab!
Overall this album is worth it's money, a little worrying about 2 of the songs, but that's nothing to fuss over when the rest of the album is of such high quality! Great Album! 10/10!

5.0 out of 5 stars American Idol 4- And my fave wins!, 14 Sep 2005
This review is from: Inside Your Heaven (Audio CD)
I watched American Idol 4 right from the start, and as soon as i saw and heard carrie i wanted her to win! Her voice is so pure it's amazing. 'Inside your Heaven' is a good track, but an obvious idol show track. Carrie sings it very well and deserves praise because of all the different ways this song could be sung, she chooses the right one. 'Independence Day' is one of my favourite country tracks (originally done by Martina McBride) and Carrie certainly does the song justice. Her unique western voice is an amazing talent and i eagerly wait to see what sort of material her debut album will hold. 10/10. Well worth buying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best song for a long time! 10/10! I love Kelly!, 13 Sep 2005
This review is from: Behind These Hazel Eyes (Audio CD)
'Behind these hazel eyes' is by far one of the best songs of the 21st century, and something the british public badly needs. This century has entered a stage of mediocrity and boredom on the music front, but Kelly Clarkson is what is needed to revamp this problem. Following the great single 'Since U Been Gone' this song has rock chick written all over it. The notes Kelly can hit are truely spinechilling and her pitch complexicity is one to be admired. The video is another special one from Kelly, being in my top 2 ever beside Since U Been Gone. This is a song many can relate to, having someone play you about but not letting them see your true pain because you don't want them to think you need them. All in all a fantastic release, worthy of a number 1 in the U.K.! Wake up Britain and see you have an amazing singer here for you! 10/10! I love Kelly 4ever!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars 10/10! The Best Album Ever! I love Kelly!, 12 Aug 2005
This review is from: Breakaway (Audio CD)
'Breakaway' is indefinetly the best album i have ever listened to and to top it all off she has included 'miss independent' and 'low' to this barrier breaking hit album! I bought Kelly's first album 'thankful' and was delighted at that tone and complexicity of her unique and powerful voice. This album is full of amazing songs, and not a single one of them is bad! Not even medeocar! It's also great to see that Kelly is now recording her voice as the backing because eventhough her main harmonys and notes fill her songs, the backing singers chosen sometimes spoil the feel, but with her she can make everything magical!
Breakaway-10/10-Co written by Avril Lavigne and an amazing song! Very relevent to the Princess Diaries 2 i'm told and they are very lucky to have it on their soundtrack! Amazing vocals from Kelly and it's great to see similar artists backing her!
Since U Been Gone-10/10!-One of my favourite songs of all time! An endless hit due some immediate No.1 spots all over the world! It's lyrics are fab and i can relate to them so much! It's simply fab and once again excellent vocals from Kelly. The video is by far in my top 2 along with another of her's. Deserving of many awards! Great!
Behind these Hazel eyes-10/10!- Truthfully my favourite song of all time, just beating 'Since U Been Gone'. The vocal arrangement and notes that she hits evokes sympathy all the way through this song! It's backing is excellent and i must say well done to the band! Well written Kelly and once again i can relate thoroughly! The video is in my top 2 most definetly and i will be the most surprised if this doesn't hit no.1 in the u.k. when it is released. Great Kell!
Because of you-10/10-An extremely moving ballad which is up there with 'A moment like this' in Kelly's best ballads. Once again evoking sympathy, this song shows alot of pain and once again the amazing voice of Kelly. Should be the next released and will definetly be world wide reknowned due to it's fabulousness!
Gone-10/10-Fab! Great singalong and great in every aspect! Her harmony vocals in the last vocals amazed me immensly because i have never heard somebody hold notes so high and for so long, at the same time adding power! Startling!
Addicted-10/10-Very Amy Lee like obviously due to Ben Moody co-writng it but i tell you what, Kell could beat her vocally anyday! She's great singing rocky feeling songs and the backing is great once again in this song, Fab!
Where is your Heart?-10/10-A great ballad with intense notes from start to finish. Great song and deserves alot of praise!
Walk Away-10/10-It took some time for me to gel into this song because it really didn't appeal to me at first, but as time went on and i listened to it more, the rhythm and feel to it is great. Very appropiatly worded and some great notes and power. Fab!
You Found Me-10/10-As soon as i heard this song i fell in love with it. The backing and feel to it is so catchy and the lyrics are great. Once again her voice gleems with stardom and proves it should always!
I Hate Myself for Losing You-10/10-Very different to the other songs on the album, but as i have always said she can make anything great and this proves it. If this song had been done by anyone else it would have been bland and turned into pop rubbish. But thanks to Kelly it sounds and feels great! The vocals are as usual fab and the backing is great. Lyrics seemed pretty perculiar but otherwise great!
Hear Me-10/10-Another Amy Lee sound alike but this time 10 times better. No way could Amy Lee beat Kelly at this song because it was made for her! Outrageously fantastic!
Live Version of Beautiful Disaster-10/10-A great vocal performance and by far beats the 'Thankful' version. The piano and her voice storm together like a hose on fire baby! A great performance and trademarked by Kelly!
All in all i must say this album should hit no.1 in every country it is released in due to it's spectacular charisma and product! Kelly is exactly what the British public needs- proper music with a proper good singer! I love Kelly Clarkson so much and i can tell you this now, i'm gonna need aload of copies cos this one's almost worn out already! 10/10! The Best Album ever! I love Kelly!

5.0 out of 5 stars A true Idol in the making!, 8 July 2005
I loved Kelly right from the start of American Idol and her voice has stuck with me ever since. I love 'A moment like this' and Kelly should be paid her due by everyone thanks to the stunning vocal notes and range of her voice and there is no way that anybody can say she isn't good because she simply is! Im not that keen on 'Before your love' but at the same time she can take any song and make it good, so well done Kelly! Great song to start off her bright career- 10/10! I love Kelly!
