5.0 out of 5 stars First class DVD, 1 Nov. 2014

One of my first enjoyable memories of TV viewing as a young child was this particular series. Takes me right back. The DVD is excellent, offers special features such as a specially edited 70 minute version of just the drama sections of the programme. Definitely get this if you want a spooky trip down memory lane.

Excellent size and weight. Very fast portable HDD. Very pleased and it performs exactly as I'd hoped. Comes bundled with some software I think but I just use it as plug and play.

Logitech Harmony Hub

5.0 out of 5 stars Good way of controlling all of your media devices and more, 1 Nov. 2014
This review is from: Logitech Harmony Hub (Accessory)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
In a nutshell this Harmony hub will allow you to control many things via wi-fi from an app on either your phone or tablet. It's fairly simple to get going if you are familiar with Harmony remote products and still easy to understand if it's your first time with such things.

The hub itself is very small, like a little side plate, comes with UK and US plug adapter and two USB cables. The getting started guide is very simple. It tells you to plug the device in near your entertainment center and then to download the app (available from play store or apple store) to your phone or tablet. You then run the app and setup begins. First you pair the device to your tablet/phone via Bluetooth, connect to your internet router and you then move onto scanning for your devices. Switch them on obviously. It will read them. If it doesn't you can add them manually. This is all done in a very easy step by step stage from the app.

Once you have all your devices added, you then move onto the process of creating 'activities'. This is where you correlate certain things. For example if you create an activity of say 'watch a DVD', selecting that choice will then turn on the TV and media player, and switch the TV to correct channel etc. The actual process of setting up the activity might take a while depending on how many devices you have added. So for example you might end up with activities like, Play video game, Watch TV, Play music. And of course once you are inside these activities you have more control as well.

The hub is not limited to entertainment control. If you have wireless devices that control your lighting or blinds for example you can control those too via the hub.

All in all if you are in the market for such a device it works well, is reasonably priced and I would recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars First class Torch, 25 Oct. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Excellent Torch. Very bright and simple to use. Gives and excellent strong beam of light and the ability to focus the beam from a spotlight with throw to a big flood circle of light is invaluable. One thing that confused me initially was the 320 lumen burst mode, which you have to hold down the button. In simple terms you get the boost mode from momentary activation. Wich is half pressing but hold the button in place. Every time you do a full press of the button you will also get a flash of the burst mode. The button sequence is high, low and then off. Batteries seem to last ages, you get plenty of bright useable light and plenty of warning before you need to change the batteries (regulation isn't everything). The light can actually tail stand on a flat surface, a little wobbly but it does stand upright. Worth having.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent value storage box, 25 Oct. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is a good size (A4) for many bits and pieces you might want to store away. Assembly was very easy. literally had it together in about 25 seconds. Not like those Ikea ones where you have to bend bits of metal and carefully fold the cardboard. This was much simpler and the box seems better quality and more sturdy and secure. It also has a metal handle at the front so if it's high on the shelf you can pull it out for easy access. I have the pink one, not my choice, but actually it's nice and bright, quite striking, more so than in the picture shows here. I definitely recommend this box, but obviously get which ever colour you fancy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good solid photo editing, 8 Oct. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I've been a fan of Paint Shop Pro for a good few years now and this latest edition continues the tradition of being excellent value for money. Worth the upgrade over X6? not sure, worth the upgrade over X5 definitely. There is some additional bundled software that you may or may not find useful, Face filter and clear vision.

One thing I like about PaintShop Pro is the way the software is in three phases, 1. Manage (your photos and easily find what you need). 2. Adjust (allows you adjust the image, colour, brightness etc and has plenty of preset filters to use), and 3 Edit (which allows you to use all the advanced and pro features for editing the image. The other great thing about the software is that it's fun and intuitive to use.

If you're a first time buyer of the software I highly recommend it, if you own a recentish edition of the software you may want to have a closer look first.

5.0 out of 5 stars Never leave home without it, 10 Aug. 2014

Excellent little key-chain edc triple A torch. Very sleek, not much bigger than the battery itself. This has three brightness levels. High 50 lumens, medium 20 lumens and low 2 lumens. There's also a forth mode which is a sort of blink mode between high and low. You twist the head to change the modes. Creates a nice big circle of flood light. Also comes with a metal clip and spare O ring. I own a few of these keychain lights and this one is probably my favorite in terms of versatility. The low 2 lumen mode is useful for looking at something close without drawing attention. Or night reading etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent light for pocket, keyring and every day carry, 2 Aug. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I'm really pleased with this. I own a few torches by fenix and thrunite and this is one of the best, probably my favourite. It's small but very powerful and runs on a cr123 battery (which can be bought cheaply online). The advantage of this battery is no leaking and can withstand very cold temperatures. It works with a twist head operation and the reason I bought this was because it always comes on first in the medium setting which is what I use the most and will give a decent 4 hours run-time. That's a lot for a torch I keep on my keyring for semi-occasional use. It's good to have the high mode and low mode is very useable too.Something like 30 hours run-time on the low mode. The light gives a very nice beam pattern that lights up a decent area in front of you. It's waterproof and tail-stands like a candle and is a pretty much go anywhere EDC light. I feel like I've finally bought the right EDC light for me with this one.
