5.0 out of 5 stars this kid has passion!, 4 Mar. 2005
This review is from: Where The Humans Eat (Audio CD)
I bought this album on the basis of the incredibly amazing 'oxygen', and im glad i did! He is set to be the voice of the generation of Nov 3rd 2004, a title that he fully deserves. Willy's voice has so much simplicity, the whole record really puts a new spin on teenage angst and the pain of growing up in this world full of insecurity. I would recommend this to anyone who wants inspiring lyrics and some very beautiful music. What else can i say...this is one of the most amazing things ive ever heard.

4.0 out of 5 stars what an amazing movie!, 29 Jan. 2005
This review is from: Thirteen [DVD] (DVD)
I heard about this movie through some of my friends in America. It was a big hit over there, so i thought i'd check it. I bought it, and i dont regret it at all! Tracey and Evie are amazing characters that act out very well what life at thirteen really is like. The only letdown is the end...i dont really get the last scene, and it felt very anti climatic. I would recommend this anyway for the great acting and dramatic plot.

Stargirl: Stargirl (Black Apple)
Stargirl: Stargirl (Black Apple)
by Jerry Spinelli
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars wow...this is a must read, 25 Jan. 2005
I love this book, and i can safely say this is the best novel i have ever read. The characters are real and honest, and Stargirl is such an inspirational character. There is a lot of truth in the way that people react to stargirl; she is individual, and that is something that the other characters fear. This is a must read book...i promise that it is one of the most heartfelt and touching books ever.

The Tea Rose

5.0 out of 5 stars Pure Perfection, 23 Jan. 2005
This review is from: The Tea Rose (Paperback)
I picked this book up before i went on holiday, as im prone to taking short books that i finish within a day. From the first page, i found this book unputdownable. The characters are well fitted to the story, and the plot is never predictable. The background of this book is very imaginative as well; the cultures are so different, and Donnelly manages to pinpoint this factor so well. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys mysterious reads that don't become too predictable. I've read both of Donnelly's novels released in 2004, and have been thrilled by the quality of her writing. Read this...you wont regret it.
