This is an excellent twist on the fantasy genre. A great read, and refreshing plot. Couldn't put this book down.

read about ten pages, that was enough - infantile & purile. A victory for marketing over substance. My advice would be to steer well clear !

2.0 out of 5 stars A bit repetative, 3 Jan. 2009
We have read the first two series of this saga with relish. My son was six when we started reading these books - and they are great for this age group. The only problem with this series is it seems to go on forever - it seems that "Adam Blade" or his publishers are realy cashing in on this formulae. My son is now eight and is now starting to wince every time Tom says "while there is blood in my veins....". But the problem is that the readers realy want to see some sort of conclusion, rather than a million iterations of the same story. I know its the credit crunch and everything but for once can someone put artistic license ahead of financial gain - beacause this series has lost its way and should have been concluded about 10 books ago !!. Come on "Adam" fight the publishers and finish it off - it would have had far more longevity if you had done this in the first place !! P.S. had this story ended after the first two series it would have had five stars !!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 3 Mar. 2007
This review is from: The God Delusion (Hardcover)
I found this book a very engaging read. Interesting to read some of these reviews, it is obvious that some are deliberately trying to debunk this book, presumably because it cuts a little to close to the bone for some religious audiences. It's about time that the world started to challenge the archaic thought processes behind religious behavior and dogma, that have caused so much harm and suffering throughout the world. If god did exist surely there would be only one religion?

This is an excellent album - one of the best I've heard for a while. Very original sound - amazing harmonies and melody lines, and pleasantly quirky. Everyone should have this album..
