5.0 out of 5 stars Cheap & Genuine Oral-B, Recommended, 22 July 2015

Review of the Brush Heads:
These TriZone brushes are excellent and when used with my trizone 2000 brush. They leave my teeth and mouth feeling cleaner than a manual toothbrush, and have not caused any irritation or problems after years of use. The cost of these replacement heads make investing in the 2000 or 600 series trizone toothbrush economical compared to replacing good manual brushes, at around £2.50 per head. These brushes will also fit the more expensive 4000/6000 series of trizone brushes. They last over 3 months, and the colour fade indication halfway down the light-blue bristle may even exceed this by a month or two. Users having access to a supply of cheap genuine Oral-B replacement heads should see this as a huge positve when weighing up the descision to buy a trizone brush.

A Note on Genuine Oral-B Parts:
These replacement brush heads, when bought directly from Amazon as the seller (i.e. it is amazon both selling and dispatching) are genuine replacements as far as I can tell. Some customers have reported problems with fake or third-party compatible brushes; which made me hesitant to order - especially considering these are half the price compared to high street retailers; but other helpful customers have correctly stated that you will receive genuine Oral-B heads if bought from amazon as the seller. I dont want to heavily discourage others from using other sellers on amazon (as competition is healthy), but it appears some third-party sellers may not be stocking geniune Oral-B parts on this product page.

As for the brushes I bought from amazon: there is a batch code under the brush, there are small notches in the holes that the brush bristles protrude out of, and the inside and outside of the brush generally matches the look from the set I bought from Boots a year ago. The packaging is a plastic pack as shown in the product picture, containing 4 blister packs for each head. From inspection I am conviced these are genuine Oral-B parts. The only difference I can tell is the Oral-B logo on the bottom of the heads appears very slightly lighter, perhaps that could be because Oral-B/Braun are running low on grey ink. Im happy they are genuine and sell this cheap on amazon, as i was on my last brush head. This saved me from brushing my teeth every other other day whilst waiting for sales at Tesco and Boots to reduce their regular £18.99 asking price.

I've had the product for a few days and am pretty happy with it.

This chair has a solid construction with a backplate connecting the backrest to seat. This means that the chair can be used without the sidearms but I suspect that the metal sidearms provide additional strength, so I am hesitant to recommend using this chair without them. Building this chair was fairly easy, the only difficult part was attaching the arms which required loosening of the backplate bolts, and use of some force to line them up with the bolt holes - perhaps it might have been easier to fit them on first, instead of religiously following the steps on the instruction sheet provided. I wouldnt call putting it together at all difficult, even if it is a bit on the heavy side.

The padding material is a little firmer than typical faux leather chairs, and the faux leather topping itself is softer than you might expect with a "matte" feel to it. Its comfortable and the stitching work seems good. That being said the fabric is perforated (like a rich tea biscuit), and im not sure how it will stand up against the stretching and cracking that faux leather chairs typically undergo after years of use - though it seems like its of good quality out of the box. The product pictures do the item justice.

The chair has a fairly vanilla gas operating lift system with a on/off rocker motion (you can set its height, and it leans back but you can not fix the backrest/seat angle). I think there is a tension knob on the bottom to set how hard it is to lean back. You can turn the rocker mechanism off/on by pushing the lever in/out.

The supplier Rinkit were very good, and they delivered within 48 hours using free delivery (uk mail), well within their week long esitimate. If anything they overpackaged the individual parts a little. The bolts and allen keys were loose in the box strangely but they were all accounted for.

I bought this chair because i wanted a quality chair around the £60-80 mark. I was discouraged from buying cheaper since those chairs (which are littered all over amazon) often had plastic "structural" arms which looked weak and might crack/snap after repeated use. I also had the feeling i would be wasting money if i spent more than £80 on an home office chair, but there are some commentators who swear "you get what you pay for" by spending much more - i am skeptical.

Im pretty confident this model wont fall apart without warning and is solidly built. Im 12 st and of average "rotundness", the chair space is ample for me - i can even get one leg on the seat, but not sit fully cross legged on it. Its good for me but if you are of abnormal rotundness you might have to check the specs more carefully to see if it is fit you. The gas lift is rated for 25 st of donut chomping glory, but its only one part.

From someone who has put too much thought into buying a chair, this is worth the £65. If you believe orange is the new black, theres another version on sale with browny orange padding for £75. I would recommend this chair to anyone researching an office chair for £50-80 on Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Had it for 4 Years, Still going strong - ITS SQUIDGEY, 4 Sept. 2009

I have had this mousemat for a while now and its still great. I used to have an old dell mouse (Dell are rubbish dont buy Dell btw). Anyway, when this mat was new it had a great grip and traction on the track ball in the dell mouse. The many dimpled surface has worn a bit but it still grips the track ball as well as it ever did.
I upgraded to a laser mouse about a year ago, as that works perfectly as well, no problems whatsoever. I cant really comment on optical mice, but from my experience most of them felt cheap and jumped to the end of the screen a lot from subtle movements anyway.
As for the wristrest itselt, its amazingly squidgey, you'll be poking fun at it for ages, though this was my first gel rest. Something that is annoying is that others who sit at your desk will try to pop it open so the gel oozes out, this hasnt happed though despite great efforts from various people. The rest is on the firm side and of course plastic coated rather than the softer fabric coated belkin gel rests.
Another fantasic thing about it is that the underside of the mat is made from sticky squidgey rubber that will adhere to any flat surface, so it wont move about while your using it. This can lead to the eventualy build up of dust and debris on the underside, but you can rinse it off... its all plastic.

For me its great, makes my pc seem 100 pounds more expensive due to its professional look. Be warned however, if you need a large mat or use your mouse in large turning circle movements this will not suffice, and it will not replace a gaming mat, which arent comfortable at all but ensure you wont run the mouse off the mat easily. But im a gamer dabbling in the old Oblivion and UT3 goodness and i have not a problem with it...BUY IT.

I agree with the last reviewer that these 2*10KG dumbells are good value for 25 pounds. Also, on the fact that the spinlock bars included have a very rough surface that irritate your hands, since i had no ambitions of deveoping huge calluses or blisters on my palms i covered the roungh surface with a few layers of cellophane (cling film), which seems to alleviate most of the irritation.
The excersize wall chart provides a good number of workouts for several body areas, however you do need a bench for some.
As for late deliveries i got mine within 2 days - ordered on a saturday, arrived monday 9 am, however i did start a one month free trail on amazon prime with this order, and it may be a good idea to do the same before buying this item to avoid a 6 pound delivery charge (read terms and know where to change settings before commiting!).

Good Points - Cheap, Does the Job Well.
Bad Points - Rough bars, Smells of paint a bit to start off with.

4/5

Before Buying this i suggest you go to the delonghi website and check out the specifications there. Some things you should know are:

>>> There is no temperature thermostat control, which is the top knob on the amazon product picture, which in itself is wrong.
>>> Neither the product box or the manufacturer website say anything about this product being quiet. I dont know why it says quiet on the item title, it shouldnt.

Since i bought this on the previous reviewers appraisal i thought it would be quieter than the 2.4 KW static delonghi fan heaters that two of my flatmates have bought, this is louder than their model. However it does oscillate and is not unbearably loud so it gets two stars, Delivery was next day, but for six pounds id hope so.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lifesaver - The Study Pack Inclusive Statics Edition, 4 Mar. 2007
At a near loss on what most of my exam material would be on during revision i bought this book to fill certain gaps that my notes and lecture handouts were missing. I found reading through the study pack and referring back to the main text for detailed examples was the best method of revision. While this book has some examples that my exam and module did not include this book covered all topics taught with many problems and illustrated examples, CLEARLY WORKED EXAMPLES, which is always helpful. The study pack contains key points that you can absorb in a short time, and this book helped me pass a core module well above the minimum margin. Im buying the sister dynamics book as soon as i start that course.

If this is one of the books your lecturer recommends, BUY IT. If not, at least compare others to this book first, before buying another text.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots Of Thought Gone Into This One, 12 Feb. 2007
This game is great, its not legendary but it will stick around for a while and is a benchmark for its creativeness. You really get a feel for the waring hatred the locust and the human characters in the game feel for each other, and this is well portrayed by the chainsaw melee, lots of exaggerated gore and clever tactical things like grenade tagging. The developers have taken notice of sniping in other multiplayer games and have made typical cheap play online more viscous, such as one shot reloads on the snipers and no straight shooting lauchers. Also you get a free map pack download courtesy of discovery and epic. The single player game itself did appear a tiny short, but theres plenty of achievable replay value including multiplayer (No Bots), which makes excellent co-op play.

The online community for the first two months was fantastic, surprisingly, but after a while as the more hardcore players remained, more of the trash talk appeared, which was unsurprising. However there is less emphasis on rankings and more on your gamer zone or attitude which is better than Halo 2's matchmaking process.

The campaign story is good, of course your not going to feel much for characters that explode when shot with a rubber band but its involving enough, and leaves many questions behind.

Again ive got to say, although the collectors edition does have some good stuff, standard editions dont miss out, but i expect it will be a while before developers realise what collectors edition implies (signatures).

Well Worth The Money,

10/10 - both online and off, cant wait for the sequel.

Another Class Epic Title.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Graphics, But Sees Lots Of Shelf-time., 12 Feb. 2007
The fake girls are looking as beautiful as ever in this game and yes the extras are a nice addition. The best new game is by far the marine race. The rest, such as pool hopping, butt battles and flag races are not so much of addition rather than things added in for the hell of it, and to test the physics, ahem.

As for the gameplay, its no longer relaxing to play this game, it demands far too much time from the player to achieve its goals of making friends with everyone on the beach island, and the volleyball has become a bit more flukey than i wouldve liked, i find myself thinking what the **** (hell) in the middle of games, in fustration. As far as collecting swimsuits goes its the same story, plus around 400(G) points i think per character to unlock their suits on marketplace - an extra 30 quid for everything is the games designers thinking too highly of themselves. As im a student now, and like most guys, i dislike being kicked in the wallet region.

On the student point, there are other people living on my floor and yes, this game doesnt have two player of any sort apart from live (useless cos of uni firewall anyway). The only funny times you'll have with this game around your mates is laughing at throwing the ladies off the edge in the water slide.

Its still an alright game but more of an addition to my shelf, and im glad ive tried it, just not for its asking price. The First is better.

TidBits:

(o) Camera control is aweful, id rather watch the superbowl again than learn to master it.

(o) Casino Is Better.

(o) Characters more moody.

(o) Have not finished the waterslide yet, keep on falling off.

(o) English voice dubbing is dire, As in DIRE. I cant even understand what Tina is saying.

(o) Bouncey physics are over exaggerated, too bad they're only put to one use.

(o) Thers No MRS CHIEF.

Summary:

Enough for any DOA fans faith to wane..just a little, over content.

6/10

P.S. I read somewhere that Itagaki (lead design - Team Ninja) will go wherever the most powerful console is, so dont get your hopes up for xbox exclusivity anymore :<

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Fighter, Slick But takes Too Much Effort to master., 31 Aug. 2006
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a very good fighter like the others in the series, great graphics great animation great interface. However it has to be said that if you are going to go online youre going to have to know every move on every character and how to counter (which i cant figure out out how to do effectively).

There are some stupidly hard tasks and combos DOA4 asks of you, but if youre like me and stick to the easy combos you CAN COMPLETE everything on single player, despite other people moaning about it. Its not that hard when you get used to it. It IS stressful however when you come back to it after a while and you forget all the good combos for each character, just remember yor new tv and xbox 360 costs a lot of money and you DONT want to hit it, ive bought a stress ball to stop me doing this (ive also got a smiley face cushion that i punch aswell). Leave your hardware alone when playing any fighter.

P.S. The graphics ARE great, if anyone has a VGA box on the PS2 or the XBOX 1, compare it with DOA2 and DOA3 you will tell straight away. Plus team ninja have updated the backgrounds more than the character models.

1.0 out of 5 stars Normal USB Storage Device, Not Hard Drive For Games., 31 Aug. 2006
This is not an add on for the 360. It is a normal usb hard drive like a usb memory stick.

You CANNOT store demos or game saves on it, it is not a memroy card substitute either.

This is basically a very expensive portable device which you can load music and photos off of. Try a USB memory stick instead, two years ago i bought a 4.2 GB USB device off a company that "considers memory crucial" for about half the price.

BUY A USB STICK INSTEAD AND SPEND THE MONEY YOU SAVE ON AN INTERCOOLER.
