I would recommend this book for all musicians who spend any time on the road. It's packed full of advice on the potential pitfalls that we can all encounter at some point in our career and contains information that would be useful to even the most hardened professional.
If your just starting out as a gigging musician this book is a must-have! There's a lot more to getting hired than just being able to play well. A professional attitude and gig 'etiquette' are essential - and there are plenty of tips on how NOT to annoy the bandleader!
It's well written and nicely set out with all the anecdotes highlighted so if your just looking for humorous stories they're easy to find. Also every chapter (or 'chorus' as they're called here) has a summing up of all the key points.
All in all it's a fun book to read - and one that can be reread many times. Highly recommended!
