Q & A a Day for Kids: A Three-Year Journal
Q & A a Day for Kids: A Three-Year Journal
by Betsy Franco
Edition: Diary

5.0 out of 5 stars THE ANTIDOTE TO USELESS PRESENTS, 3 Oct. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This makes the perfect gift for children 9 upwards, as they and you can monitor their progress and see how they've changed over the years. Looks really expensive, too. Highly recommended for everyone who is wondering what on earth to get for Birthdays or Christmas for children that appear to have everything. It's something different to the usual gifts that are forgotten after a week as this delightful diary should be used daily for THREE YEARS!.

5.0 out of 5 stars IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE, 3 Oct. 2014

Bought this for my other half after it was recommended by his doctor. The exercises are good and the information makes a lot of sense. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A GREAT TIP FOR A TOP-UP!, 3 Oct. 2014
Bought this as a stocking filler and I like it so much I will be buying more closer to Christmas. Very neat and such a good idea as mobiles run down so quickly, one is constantly needing a top-up. Nice design.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREATER FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT, 3 Oct. 2014
In the past I have encased my dodgy knee in a solid knee support. Problem is, as my knee is more of a footballer shape than slimline, it's like wearing a straight jacket on the knee. The knee just can't bend under a pair of jeans or any trousers that are less-than-wide leg - and, of course, skinny jeans and leggings are the current rave! I have also found that the full knee supports roll and get very hot and itchy. This little number is much more comfortable, as the whole of the knee is free in the middle, but wonderfully supported above and under the knee cap. Much more effective. What's more, you can adjust it top and bottom. Also, around the house, because it wraps around, you can wear it over the top of jeans and it still looks neat - not possible with something you have to pull up from the bottom! Highly recommended for mobility. Looks neat when running.

Cider Vinegar (Sheldon Natural Remedies)
Cider Vinegar (Sheldon Natural Remedies)
by Margaret Hills
Edition: Paperback
Price: £6.39

5.0 out of 5 stars A NATURAL REMEDY FROM A STATE REGISTERED NURSE, 3 Oct. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I heard about this book on LBC when the programme was talking about osteo-arthritis. All sorts of people rang in to say how well it worked. So I got it and read it really quickly. Margaret Hills, the State Registered Nurse who wrote it many moons ago, makes perfect sense and I am hopeful that at some point in the future, when I have imbibed an organic cider vinegar drink three times a day - or popped my newly acquired Cider Vinegar pills twice a day - I shall be skipping rather than limping - thereby avoiding any kind of medical intervention! I have now bought this book many times over and passed it out to everyone I know with any kind of aches and pains, diabetes, gout and much more!

5.0 out of 5 stars A CHANGE FROM CARTOONS!, 3 Oct. 2014

This review is from: Bugsy Malone (DVD)
As the older children at her school are doing a production of Bugsy this year, my little girl was interested when I told her that there was a film she could watch. I got it. And she loves it. A welcome change from cartoons and other children's movies. I really hope they will be doing Bugsy when she gets to 11!

5.0 out of 5 stars THE WORLD THROUGH A CHILD'S EYES, 3 Oct. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Having seen various adverts for Water Aid, Comic Relief and so on, my five-year-old had started taking an interest in other children and other countries in the world. I bought this book to give just a little information designed for little ones. This was perfect as there are lots of pictures and facts that she - and children slightly older than her - can grasp and talk about..

The perfect Birthday gift for boys and girls, as all children seemed to be enthused and inspired by these giant creatures. This book is informative and easy to follow. Great for both kids and parents as there's just the right amount of facts with a little bit of informative text and great pictures. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars GETTING RID OF THE MUNCH BUNCH!, 3 Oct. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This year we had a whole load of those silvery, slippery little suckers in our house and, of course, I got the job of eliminating the munch bunch, without slowly killing the householders with pesticides. The initial all-natural moth killers were ineffective and holes carried on appearing in cashmere, cotton and wool - obviously the moths have better taste than to even consider Acrilan! Anyway, these handy hangers appear to have done the trick so I won't be progressing to Rentokil!
