5.0 out of 5 stars Just Smile, 31 Jan. 2012
This review is from: In Case You Didn't Know (Audio CD)
(Just smile : track #9) That's just what Olly makes you do. I was a huge fan of Olly from the show, he was constantly fun to listen to and watch.
I loved the first album and was a bit was hesistant to get into the new one in case I didn't like it...
No fear! Popular tracks might soon be forgotten as you go further into the album and you get drawn into this world where he wears his heart on his sleeve and it's a good, good place!

Loved it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Please read this!, 22 Oct. 2007
This review is from: Half of a Yellow Sun (Paperback)
Along with everyone else, I heard all the fuss made about this book. I bought it as birthday gift to myself, and now I understand what the fuss is about. A beautifully written book, which draws you in and takes you to Eastern Nigeria, to spend years witnessing the passions, the fears, the succeses and failures of the people that lived there. At the end you reluctantly wave goodbye to the real/fictional characters, wishing you could stay just a bit longer, just another day...
It began a bit slow, the first 100 pages seemed to take a long time- but Adichie was probably just easing us in slowly, because once it took off, it was a non stop ride on a roller coaster of emotion.
Suffice it to say- this is a brilliant book. Please read it!

5.0 out of 5 stars All that and then some!, 30 Aug. 2007
I think my only regret is not watching this movie in the cinema, on a big screen, to get the full experience. It's wonderful! The opening scene, the music, the script, the characters evoke a myriad of emotions.
There is, however, no way of mentioning Dreamgirls without giving a mental standing ovation to Jennifer Hudson. She simply stole the show, which is actually a compliment to the other stars, especially Beyonce, that they allowed a 'newbie' to take such role while they played off her. With the famous 'I'm telling you I'm not going', she sealed the deal for her oscar.
The DVD is a collector's item, the movie is all that, and then some!

5.0 out of 5 stars It just gets better, 12 April 2007
I've got a number of Hillsong albums-and definitely all the live projects since 2002. Mighty to Save is definitely one of the best. From the bold 'Take it all', to the worship inspiring 'Mighty to Save',it's an amazing journey. Don't forget 'From the inside out', every true believer's heart's cry. There's a song and sound for everyone in here.

Honestly, Hillsong just gets better and better. Can't wait to get the next one!!!
