The Masala Cookbook: A Fresh Approach to Indian Cuisine
The Masala Cookbook: A Fresh Approach to Indian Cuisine
by Parvati Narshi
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars satisfaction!, 28 Nov. 2011
The book was in good condition, although second hand. It arrived very promptly and we have already used several of the recipes. The recipes are straghtforward and easy to follow but the resulting meals are beautiful and exotic! I would recommend this book to anybody who enjoys Indian food but has felt that the reproduction of Indian restaurant food would be beyond their abilities.

5.0 out of 5 stars Christening present, 24 Aug. 2011
Delightful! Exactly what I wanted for a Christening present. The basic coverage of the books of the Bible is admirable and the illustrations are clear, colourful and hold the attention of very young children

5.0 out of 5 stars Delight!, 10 Feb. 2009
A delight to read.
An amazing array of characters, all unique and yet bound together with their common environment. This author's ability to span the centuries and yet to create something that is still believable, rather than pure fantasy, is wonderful. The links between the years and the characters and the impact one generation has upon the next and the next is remarkable.
