1.0 out of 5 stars Atrocious!, 16 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
These guys are taking the mick. Base plate came with 4 bolts, 4 spacers and only 2 nuts. I phoned them up, the man says that no space for 4 nuts on Arduino so only two provided. What? Provide the proper bleeding contents and let us decide whether all the nuts fit or not, you don't ruddy decide for us. And BTW there IS space for all the 4 nuts. The man further says they will sell me the two nuts 11p each plus £1.90 postage. Atrocious.

Just brilliant. Cool white light around the house is so very nice. Will never go for the harsh yellow tungsten warm light.

4.0 out of 5 stars Huawei E586 so far so good!, 30 April 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Having purchased an HSPA+ 14.4 Mbps dongle, I came across Huawei E586. So returned the dongle to Amazon and instead got this one. This was sold by a 3rd party seller in Market place but Fulfilled by Amazon. The box had every thing as advertised, and the unit is shiny new and immaculate.

I put the giffgaff sim in it, and turned it on, the unit being unlocked to all networks. It showed that sim was ok, since the signal strength was full, but it continuously kept displaying connected followed by disconnected, as if it was trying to connect but was unsuccessful. The small users' guide in the box was not very helpful, and the seller provided urls in the inside cover take you to a FBI seized domain.

The only thing that the small booklet provided which eventually helped was the dongle web address 192.168.1.1 and password Admin. On the web setup page into the settings tab, dongle was set to auto connect, I changed it to manual, created a new APN, and used the following values for giffgaff.

Profile Name: giffgaff
Dial up number: *99#
User name: giffgaff
Password: password
Authentication: PAP
APN: Static giffgaff(dot)com
IP Address: Dynamic

It's been working flawlessly since. Also emailed the seller who has provided alternate addresses for downloading instructions to setup, and a list of APNs.

One star docked for useless booklet and non-existent url address inside the package.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely stunning.., 30 Sept. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I watched the whole series when initially aired on TV. Where I Claudius was from Octavian (Augustus) onwards, this one is right upto the dawn of Augustus Era. What a masterpiece it was then when I first watched it, and what an absolutely stunning piece of work it is in Blu-ray. Watching the episodes with 'All roads lead to Rome', one learns so much. I wholeheartedely recommend this one. Probably the best of the lot of my blu-ray collection.

3.0 out of 5 stars No one has had a claim so far...., 14 Sept. 2011
All the 5 reviewers have purchased the policy, and have given 5 stars for what? None of them has had to deal with them following a claim, a litmus test for insurers. Contacting a customer following a policy purchase etc is all well and good, brownie points for them, BUT, how do they deal with the customers following a claim?

Oh yes I can give them all the stars and glowing reviews, but until someone puts a real post-claim experience, I'll take all these reviews with a pinch of salt.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice piece of kit, 5 Dec. 2009
Got the XP home version. First thing, got rid of the Mcafee whatnot. Installed Firefox next, then added all the usual FF extensions, eg Adblockplus, Tabmix, Firegestures, etc etc. Firefox is as bloated with these extensions as it can be, and running like a breeze. I do not intend to upgrade the memory to 2gb, it's running as smooth as can be expcted with the pre-installed 1gb. Very nice and clear screen. Keyboard perfectly adequate for my largish fingers. Bottom line: A brilliant machine, very well made, nice looking, and the proverbial icing on the cake is the very long battery life.
