A very good book and a good Tool of you need to make a Fairclough-based discourse analysis. This is definately the best work of Fairclough I've come across, and it will definately follow me through a variety of analysis in the future to come.

An absolutely fine small book about capitalism. Chang has humour an a nice way of writing, and difficult Things are beeing explained in a way so everybody can grasp it. It is critical of capitalism but in a good and not judgemental way. Worth reading!

The dictionary is not sufficient in itself. It seems that you need the rest of the "Essential"-series books for the dictionary to be sufficient.

Development Crises and Alternative Visions: Third World Women's Perspectives
by Gita Sen
Edition: Paperback
Price: 18.58

3.0 out of 5 stars third world women, 12 July 2013

The book was good, but a bit outdated. The arguments were strong and the background work seemed sufficient. It gives a good historical insight though and the book is good to read if one wishes to understand the history of Development startegies for third World women.

This review is from: Orientalism (Paperback)
Said has some very important points, men he could definately have shortened the amount of pages. The argument is strong, but is repeated over and over again, so it is sufficient to only read parts of the book. The historical insights are very interesting and gives the reader a good background for understanding some of the complex sociogeographic ascpects.

Absolute exciting reading! I wish there were more than three books... I might have been a bit too old when I read them, but I never the less enjoyed it very much and was impressed by the details of the universe Collins have created.

4.0 out of 5 stars More than just space travels., 12 July 2013

Very funny and very weird. I especially like the part where humanity finds out what the meaning of life is. Really makes you wonder... Absolute worth readinng, also if one is not a huge fan of sci-fi. These books are more than just travels in outer Space, they makes you think of our conventional understaning of time and questions in a funny way some of the Things we take for granted.
